Dewalt Dcf891 and dcf921
Decided to swapped out the oem lug nuts from my 06 Durango. They are swollen and there is a aluminum cap that sometimes spins In place over the actual lug nut so decided to change em. I’m using some cheapo Walmart hyper tough impact sockets. I use what I got but plan on getting better sockets soon.

Quick open box look at my new gf5 ak47 from palmetto state armory! Ordered on 1/27/21 and brought it home 2/2/21! Awesome shipping time palmetto state! Might go shoot it tomorrow or Friday. ALG trigger is sweet with a light reset and minimal take up before it breaks. Can’t wait to take it out.

Unloaded 30 rounds into our pumpkin! Tore it in half
I have the 921 the 891 and the 900. The 921 won't do lug nuts on my car half the time so I returned it. But the 921 is quite a but stronger than any (impact driver). The 891 wouldn't do a wheel bearing on a ford edge because of all the extensions and a knuckle/ swivel but the 891 is by far my favorite because of its size and insane power. Without all the extensions it would have been no problem, but if that's gonna be a common occurrence then go bigger. The 900 just collects dust and has never needed to leave speed 2. The 900 is way way to strong for common vehicle lug nuts and can damage stuff, it also doesn't work for doing brakes because it doesn't fit behind the wheel. If you do heavy duty shit get the 900. If you are a home owner get the 891. If you just need it to take off brand new little car lug nuts and anything smaller bolts and nuts get the 921. I'm a DIYer. That's my experience.
All of them are great tho
Nah, he's using a 7/8" socket on a 22mm lug nut. 7/8" is too big. That's why the old and new lug nuts are getting stuck on the socket
I believe imma pick one of these up in a few weeks I like it seems pretty powerful. I have the dcf900 already it's my favorite
i have the dcf900 but idk where 2 get sockets 4 it any advice ?
I recently purchased the DCF891 and love it. I also own a Hercules impact driver which is surprisingly strong when used with impact sockets and adapters. As well as their 1/2 High Torque impact wrench. With these 3 tools I have not needed anything that's 3/8, or stubby 1/2
went to pound town on em lugs 😂
The breakaway is always 800 ft lbs. The fastening is 1. 100 ft. Lbs 2. 300 ft. Lbs. 3. 600 ft. Lbs of torque.

Crossthreading much and dam you got some goats 😂
Holy shit that was painful to watch when he started wrenching them back on.
muhfukin ford ranger boy
I have one the dam thing quit working and found out it will cost almost as much as a new one to fix it because of the crappy way it is made you can't just replace the trigger switch all of the internals have to be replaced 😢
Wrenching on a bolt without pre threading it is asking for trouble.
I learned that the hard way with my crv.
Cross thread city
The DCF891 has a precision mode that will prevent it from hammering in the first couplw of seconds.
@@benruss4130 it still hammers, just not at full power. Best to hand thread.
@@bt5252 no it doesn't for the starting portion of the run
Cmon man a stubby will take lugs off use this for something really stuck
Insane overkill for car lug nuts
Delete video and do a new one, without 50 % wasted on hammering the socket... 🤦🏼🤦🏼
We use those in the oil field on flanges with inch and 7/16 bolts that ain’t shit for that gun do some research before you make bogus comments on something you no nothing about “oh yah do it on a semi” this gun will hit 600 lbs
Fake.
How those lug nuts he has are prolly rated at 80ft pounds plus rust maybe like 110fr pounds
If you're gonna call out a video as fake and not even give reasoning don't even bother commenting.
💯💪🔥💯🙏
What kind of 1/2 impact ready goes with them . I’ve wasted 100 trying get right one to fit on my dcf891?
The compact one is for light duty like engine work. The mid torque one is better for anything else unless its rusted.
That's pretty accurate I own the DCF891 with 5a Powerstack battery which I absolutely love. For anything high torque, I use a Hercules High Torque. For anything light, I use a Hercules impact driver which is surprisingly strong when used with impact sockets and adapters. Both Hercules have a 5a battery
Looks like you need better deep sockets, the tolerances on those are off.
No its those dogshit chrome nuts, they corrode under the chrome cap and swell or get loose after a few years. Bane of my existence those things lol
891 for the win...or try the 900, it's a bad boy 1400 ft lbs
900 is seriously heavy..891 will do most jobs .and half the weight 😊
Great video. Which one do you prefer
Fuck this thing is a goddamn beast. Beats using a fucking breaker bar.
What are your overall thoughts on the 921?
I have the 921 and it's awesome for its size, one of the best. The 891 is way more powerful, but it's also way bigger, so that should be expected. It won't be able to get into tight spaces like the 921. I had the 12V DCF901 for a while and that was also killer, and it doesn't have any speed control which a lot of people prefer.
I have the 921, gets used a few times a month caging air brake chambers and on car lug nuts mainly. it is great but has randomly not worked a few times, pull the trigger and nothing. Had to remove the battery for a bit and put it back on. Hasn't done it in over a year now however, but have heard it has happened to other people too. It has a ton of power for its size. Great for tight spaces. I also had the 911 which is very similar but I think 50 less ft lbs and no buttons, cheaper and a c-hair longer. Just trigger speed control (which I honestly prefer anyway). It was awsome, I gave it to a buddy and he used the crap out of it.
@@juliogonzo2718 had same problem, and problem was batteries. now i'm using powerstack and didnt have problem since I started using them (ca. one year), with 5ah batteries it did 2-3times in week
I do automotive and recently purchased the 891. Loving it so far. It is not huge like a High Torque and I already know a stubby 1/2 would not be strong enough for what I do
@emmcee476 how the 891 on suspension work on cars and suv?
How good is thhs tool
Amazing! Best mid torque out on 2023
892 diferenças?
use metric sockets so they dont get stuck
Got the DCF 891 end of May to take my wheels off my 2012 Town and Country the TIRE shop put them on with there UGAA DUGGA WRENCH 2 years ago my DEWALT 887 would not BUDGE them but 891 like a hot KNIFE THREW BUTTER and i live 20 miles south CHGO
Hi, this is light duty for that 891, do it on a truck or a semi let it do it’s job,
Take a semi truck lug nut off with that. Bet it won't. Milwaukee will though :)
You Milwaukee fangirls are something else this is the most powerful mid torque on the planet this and the dcf900 high torque mops the floor with your milfuckie
do it for 6 months, just cuz they can dont mean they should. also this 891 laughs at 500ft lbs
Yah that’s bogus
@@WhosBucciyeah exactly. 620lbs
We need more GF5 videos on youtube! Brother i get my GF5-E class today!!
Taking off car wheel nut will not do the justice for it as wheels are torqued to mostly like what 60-89... This new dewalt model is top performer when compared to tools from other similar brands, it has way more torque then needed for car wheels. Truck lug nut in other hand would be more of a challenge to show off in video...
Or any other big pick up, like the f150
@@RGV2300 still only 150, this dewalt was toping out at over 700.
It took off and tightened my 2018 f250 like it was nothing
The reverse torques the same on 1,2and 3.
Yeah I noticed that
thought I remember reading that somewhere, thanks for confirming.
Love that made in USA sticker on it
Its no its only assembled here in the USA with global materials 😅
@@διαβόητο23φάντασμα and? They still provide jobs....
Unfortunately they probably have border jumpers assembling them for a loaf a bread a day.
Пришли мне.
They are loosened. Look where the lug nut lays on the lug. Pleeeeeze
Fire
In a month or 3 you'll be slamming that mag in perfect kid!!!!
Nice, how's it been shooting?
Atlantic firearms Red AK Furniture is 10 x nicer than Palmetto's bullshit furniture !
Juss ordered my GF5 w plum color ,, can't wait for it to come !!
How you like it ? Shot it yet? I just ordered the GF5 Nutmeg last night
I just bought one of these on Friday. I was hoping to get the one with the nutmeg wood, but they only had them with the black polymer furniture. Doesn't matter tho, since I'm gonna replace the furniture with some nicer wood anyway. I might have to file the mag catch a little bit tho, because some mags don't wanna click in place
I think you got the better furniture. The black one has a heat shield in it and the wood ones do not. Yours is more user friendly unless you plan on wearing gloves a lot.
Very good looking rifle
Another guy complained that they hand guards got really hot while firing the AK. Did you get a chance to fire yours and did you wood hand guards get very hot?
All wooden AK’s get hot on the hand guard. The black polymer ones come with a heat shield inside
It would be nice if they would make uppers for their KS47 lowers a leave people hanging they don't answer their phone
I'm going to be placing a bid on a nutmeg one in a few days and if I cant get that then I am buying one of these. I'm excited for my first AK
how much did you cost?
1100
nice !beautiful wood furniture set!
Your new rifle looks awesome Cesar the red furniture looks outstanding. Recently got a GF5 as well but with Zhukov furniture. I love mine. I think the price is actually reasonable since it comes with an FN CHF chrome barrel and ALG trigger. Their warranty is outstanding. I hope your have fun shooting it.
