Been diving for about 8 years now, and I can say that this thing sounds really great for amateur divers! Especially because it could be a useful trainer and whatnot. Also yes, the compressor would need to be more powerful AND reliable to extend the line, as decompression from greater than 15-20 feet can literally pull your tongue through a tube!
Absolutely! I think for sure to get people comfortable with the whole breathing underwater thing, the Nemo is fantastic! I remember when I was first getting my padi cert back in the day, I was burning through my tank the first couple of days breathing too quickly. This would be an awesome trainer for someone that’s never had the chance to breathe underwater👍
Nice setup. As a certified diver, a big plus with this is being able to dive and fly on the same day. Oh, and no deco stops lol. A 20 foot hose would be amazing. I am in South Florida and my favorite spot is a shore dive about 20 minutes from me. You have 3 reefs starting at 100 yards off shore with a depth of around 20 feet. I did 2 dives there 2 weeks ago. This would have been perfect. Great video David.
I’m in south Florida also. Definitely some good snorkel spots right off the beach, also the Keys. I feel like 10 foot hose would definitely limit me. 20-25 feet would be amazing though.
@@wesstewart6073 If you are ever looking to scuba or snorkel, the location I menmtioned is Lauderdale by the sea. There is a hotel on the beach, just gear up and walk into the water. Swim out past the pier and you're on the reef. Amazing spot.

This is a great little unit and personlly I think 10ft is plenty good if you are not scuba certified. If someone was not a confidant snorkeler/diver and it cut out at 10ft, they could panic and be in a lot of trouble. I don't know if you totally drain the battery, but when it runs out, it runs out without warning, so if it was a longer hose I think it could lead into some serious trouble for an inexperienced user. I use mine for "Dorkleing" Between snorkelling and Diving, lightweight and compact, backpack it into some remote areas, it is great, found some pretty cool stuff too.. A few little changes would be good to add too. Well that's my 2 Cents worth, be safe. Cheers Brad.....

Man, that is cool . I watch some channels where they dive in shallow rivers , waterfalls , gold course ponds , etc. Looking for stuff. Always finding cell phones , people's valuables. One channel , Yappy, another one, Depths of History. They would probably like that .

Just Subbed, Nemo Blu3 is awesome, just got back from Heron Island which is on the Great Barrier Reef, it was awesome to get down to were the action is. Black tips, white tips, turtles and rays as well as all of the smaller fish were not affected or scared of the Nemo being used. Great bit of kit to add to your arsenal of diving gear. Cheers Brad
What happens if you go too deep and pull it under behind you? And (probably a stupid question) is the generator needed? Would a floating tube that sticks out of the water connected to a mouthpiece not work the same kind of way?
DON’T TRY THAT!!! Hahaha! Please don’t, you’ll pass out. If the generator wasn’t pumping air through the hose and you just had the hose, then you would suck air and breathe air into the hose. But because the hose is so long, you would end up just sucking the air you just blew out, back in. Then you would pass out and it would be bad. Just get the Nemo and you don’t end up fish food!

It is cool but 10 ft is shallow. Even 20 ft you can hold your breath. But this allows you to lay still at the bottom and wait for the fish come see you. Although the noise is a con la jolla looks amazing
I wish I could take this thing to Hawaii!!! The thing I was most bummed about when swimming with the turtles was how I could only swim down to them for a minute or so at a time. Imagine just chillin down there with them?!

For all Blu3 users. I purchased nomad blu3 from their dealer Kellyco metal detectors in august and few months later received email from dealer (Kellyco metal detectors) that I should check with Blu3 if my device is safe to use. Then I emailed and called to Blu3 and dealer, Blu3 confirmed by serial number that my device is unsafe, compressor can blow up and cause user's death by drowning. I asked if I can return device and get refund or just get a replacement, dealer and Blu3 refused to do so. Also there is no time frame to fix this device yet. I hope they won’t make me pay for shipping. Now my trip to Mexico in December is questionable. Please see attached emails from blu 3 and kellyco on their google listing. Who will cover time without device?, I bought device to use, not to deal with all of this. Blu3 simply dont stand behind their products and products are dangerous.
I have a documentary idea but I don’t know if someone would watch it so I’m a runner and I would run a marathon with my dog and make a documentary on what it takes to run so long and also the struggle and pain you go through I think it would be interesting to watch myself so why not do it myself I just have my phone so I don’t know how I’m gonna do this but I hope one day I can make my own documentary and I’m doing the RUclipsry as you asked I’d like a GoPro or something cuz it looks the best I can buy while I’m runing but it cost to much I don’t know how I’m going to afford it het but I’ll keep my money and one day buy my own camera
Have you ever had a scuba lesson? I’ve never seen anyone use fins quite like that… Without training, you can easily kill yourself using compressed air at 20 feet.
To bad thats only product the one you know. There more better than that and more deeper up to 12meter/ 40feet portable battery compressor. Look at AIRBUDDY

The thing is literally an air pump but you have to inflate the flotation device manually. Seems like they could use the pump to inflate it.

You CAN go to Mexico!!! Can't drive across the border, but you can fly. Lots of Americans are doing it. Great prices right now, too! :-)
