    Excellent lecture. Great job!!
Your explanations of casting processes makes it easy to grasp the concept.

Pretty good as far as an introduction. Careful though, for pipe flow fully laminar flow is Re

Seems to me that the only purpose of your comment was to highlight the fact that you feel as though you know a little something about casting. That was very arrogant to say " pretty good as far as an INTRODUCTION" how about just saying that the lecture was pretty good. Everyone who viewed the video learned something.
I was glad the professor didn't respond to your comment.
Next time, before you speak tell your mouth to behave like a typical casting defect and.... COLD SHUT

Hello, thanks for the educational presentation. Could you tell me the literature source please from which you took the schematic figure of the casting system used @5:41 ? Thank you very much in advance.

Any chance you would do a part 4 metal casting on design considerations? Such as limitations on geometry of parts and on the process itself?

I may have to add a part 4 the the playlist.

Sir, can you also explain in what time we can fill the mold and the logic behind it's calculations ?

Re number for laminar flow is 2300, above that is transition zone and turbulent flow :) , great video thanks

Not sure if you still check this or not but with regards to the gating system are there limitations to designing around the parting line of die halves for part extraction?

    • @infinitymfg5397

      Hello!
Yes the position of the parting line is dictated by the density of the material that you care casting.

Professor Which density to consider , when it is a molten metal or solidified. For Reynolds number
