I like how Zero winds up being the Cyber Elf in this mod. With the number of times Zero broke down throughout the MMX series, that actually makes sense.
They could've built him a new one tbh like they did for zero (cause of omega) and all those mass production enemy robots, just based off looks I'd assume they're made from the same materials
@@DESTRAKON I'd assume that it's more difficult because Zero's fake body was able to bypass Omega's control over the Reploids. Probably because X and Zero are Robots and not Reploids, but this means that someone (I assume X) was able to recreate a body that isn't Reploid but Robot for Zero which Zero obviously doesn't know how to do and I don't think Ciel could do it either considering her last reploid creation didn't go the way she was hoping
@@zkdelta8014 Considering even the Fake Megaman X, which is probably the closest anyone has ever gotten to duplicating X in the entirety of Megaman canon, is still significantly inferior to the Original Megaman X it might not have been particularly good. Besides, as X states in the Megaman Zero series he was pretty much done with living at that point, he wanted to fade away.

I really do love the attention to detail that is making Zero a cyber elf here. Kinda makes me wish there was some kind of mod or fic detailing an alternate universe scenario where X becomes the MC of the Zero series. Maybe in this scenario, Zero used the copy body Ciel made him to seal away the dark elf? Either way, the thought of X vs. Omega is very cool IMO.
If this were to be true to zero's personality.... he'd have given copy X a blurred out middle finger and said nothing, and thats all that would have needed to be said. LOL

May have been a bit out of character at times, but I didn't think I could leave any of it out and still get everything I think would be said in there. I mean Copy X has an Ego and likes to Gloat and X is a pacifist and at this point an experienced ruler so I couldn't imagine them just rushing into a fight without talking through some things. ^_^;; heh thanks for the input though.
(Thought I'd add to it with an aftermath :3) Copy X laid defeated on the floor, he had over-exerted himself, his Bio-mechanical body scratched and wounded dearly, a red line of wiring and a exposed eye, he begins to ask, struggling to get up "W-Why... Why... can't I win...?..." The Original Maverick Hunter simply stayed silent, still unable to believe how the corrupted X was even still alive, he simply remarked "Because you lacked something I was lucky to have..." The Copy's eyes widen, silent. The Real Reploid continues: "I don't remember much... But... I had told by a friend of mine that I was found in a place called Light Labs... I only have faint memories of that place... I believe... The one thing I got over you... Is empathy... and Fear. A emotion to motivate myself and to save others. Either they are Reploid or Human... I only wished your creator would of taught you these emotions..." The Copy simply snickered and said "I see... The Original... Is motivated by..." He begins to grin his broken smile at the hero "You must know I must still try... If I'm going to die. I'm taking you with me!" The Warning blares over the two Reploids The Original simply smiles "...Stubborn..." He then fires his X-Buster to mercifully eliminate the Maverick as he begins to walk away, his own body slightly damaged himself. He begins to rush his pace, that walk turning into a run and into a dash. X doesn't just mean a unknown factor... It also means Limitless Potential. It is unknown if the original X had survived the explosion... But. If he has... He knows it's not his fight...
+Michael Allen Not bad.... but.... o.o if you ask me.... I don't think you had X's character right in this case... He would never take pleasure in Destroying an enemy... Mercy kill or not... X HATED fighting... more than anything.. He had no love for Copy X to be sure (Telling Zero to "Terminate with extreme prejudice" was proof enough of that) But It's not in X's nature to Gloat or smile before destroying a Maverick that's why Zero was there by his side in most cases to have those final words. I don't believe X would regret destroying Copy X though..... but take pleasure in it?... Sorry it was a good try though but you missed the mark.
I wasn't trying to have him take pleasure. It's more like a confrontation of himself and understanding that he has to pull the trigger. Rather than him reveling in the pain. But. Yeah. I think I may of had X too willing to end a Maverick's life...
In Rockman X 5's ending, it is implied how X and Zero ended up being rebuild as ONE ROBOT, with X as the Default Personality, and Zero is the Hidden Personality. This is why in the ending, X ended up inheriting Zero's Z Saber, and also X somehow felt Zero is near him. X is meant to have a 'Zero Mode'. Of course this X-Zero concept got revived in Rockman ZX, where Model X and Model Z merged with each other and also the Human/Reploid who is synched with them. Now while t seems as if they left behind the X-Zero ending of Rockman X 5, it seems to be still a viable one. Imagine this: X and Zero got rebuild as one, then the left over components of them got rebuild as 'Other Zeroes'… One Zero ended up in Rockman X 6, while another, possibly in Rockman X 7. Meanwhile another Zero ended up being 'Omega Zero', while a partially build Zero ended up being used by The Player in Rockman Zero. Note this X-Zero thing was also present with Omega Zero, as his gigantic shell had BOTH gigantic X Buster and Z Saber, ala Digimon Adventure's Omegamon's MetalGarurumon's Garuru Cannon and WarGreymon's Grey Sword… Yuuto Kazama voiced both for Yamato and RZ's Zero by the way… X←→Z. Most likely the symbol will morphed back and forth according to the mode.
What do you mean it’s implied they were rebuilt as one? It’s pretty obvious “zero is still with me” was meant it in a non-literal way, like having something owned from someone personal to you who passed away. They were even planning to make the zero series right after X5, the idea existing even before X5 was released. There’s only one zero in the whole series. In the japanese script of X6, zero doesn’t know how he was rebuilt, and when taken to one of the light capsules, it’s implied Dr. Light rebuilt him. The zero from X1-X8 as well as Zero1-Zero4 are the same character, just that his mind was put into different bodies. I’ll post another comment with the body timeline below.
Timeline for Zero’s mind and body -Before X1-during X1: He had his initial body which was made by Wily. according to dev, he had been programmed to be evil on such a high scale it reverted him to be good, resulting in the personality we see him usually have. Presumably the zero virus in him was used in an attempt to fix this issue, until this transferred to sigma when they first fought(in X4 flashback). When sigma broke his forehead gem while he was stunned, it may have completely reset him similar to turning off an updating computer, hence he becomes not evil. -Between X1-X2: he is retrieved from sigma’s fortress and rebuilt into the body he uses from X2-sometime before the zero series. -X5-X6: doctor light repairs zero, although it seems it took longer for him to do so then with X, probably because X was his creation and zero is someone else’s. -X8: it seems Zero has modified it to look more slim and human. Showing how his body evolved from the main X series bulky look to the streamlined version in the zero series. -After X8: He continually modifies it more times before eventually looking they way it does in the zero series. Then his mind and body were separated so he could be willingly experimented on for stopping the Maverick virus. Weil then stole his body [X2-pre Elf Wars body], but luckily they were able to make a replicate body for zero that was mostly the same but weaker. Zero then kept this replicate body while keeping the same mind that existed all the way since X1. -Before and during Zero 1: he gets abandoned somewhere sometime after the Elf Wars, breaking down, before the resistance come and repair him with a cyber elf. -Zero 3: Zero with the fake body but real mind fights Omega, destroying his original body along with Omega’s mind. -Zero 4: Zero sacrifices himself heroically, ending the timeline of his mind and body.

@Basem Magd It would make for an INTERESTING story! We could get to see what Zero has to go through in X's place, and we could see X fight Elpizo, the Reploid who was supposed to kill him (but ends up killing Zero instead)! It would be a pretty cool role swap!
This patch does seem to partially work with the US version, applying the patches to the US version via Lunar IPS does change Zeros outfit to look like X but leaves him in Zero's colors and doesn't change the box with his face in it that comes up for dialog like the the patch does when applied to the J version. That said, I have no idea how hard this would be to fix and I'm really just posting this as a reference for anyone who comes across this hack in the future.

goddamn I need to play this after I play all of the x games! I'm starting x4 now and I LOVE THE GAMES! I know that from x6 and on the games aren't that great (burn, burn to the ground, burn burn...), but I'm going to stop at x6 because that is what the collection says. Apparently there's an X8 I just learned about, is it any good?
I've heard that X8 is either good or okay. I've only played X4 & X5 (because they're the only ones on PSN). The soundtracks for all the games are great though.
It's a mod that gives him the MMZ art style. It's what it would be like if he was still in his physical form in the Zero series. There are mods that make zero look like X from the MMX series. But I don't see the problem with this design, It gives it a different feel. I also don't understand him looking like a "tool"
The copy lacks the infinite potential, Dr Light was the one that gave X this power. Is one of the reasons as to why Zero calls him "Too Weak." in the first game.

But as you just said, since he is inexperienced, and doesn't have the total of Dr Light's Years of Testing + All the Battles X had to go through in the Saga (X1 - X8) his power is only fraction of the Original Product.
@@nintenbetas To be honest in my own headcannon every reploid could get stronger by just spamming upgrades, Vile is a good example. I just hoped that Copy X wouldn't need to resort to that. I was extremely disappointed in seeing him WEAKER in Zero 3.
@@rumor-936 Now that you mention upgrades. Dr Light's Upgrades and Armors are even far powerful than the Copy X Armor. Ciel couldn't do a 100% perfect copy of that power. Even the Maverick Hunters couldn't analyze the true potential of X and Zero.

*Blushes bashfully* Thanks for Acknowledging me Geekyness XD I kinda just came up with it on the spot.. May have been a bit out of character at times, but I didn't think I could leave any of it out and still get everything I think would be said in there. I mean Copy X has an Ego and likes to Gloat and X is a pacifist and at this point an experienced ruler so I couldn't imagine them just rushing into a fight without talking through some things. ^_^;; heh thanks for the input though.

Copy X laid defeated on the floor, he had over-exerted himself, his Bio-mechanical body scratched and wounded dearly, a red line of wiring and a exposed eye, he begins to ask, struggling to get up "W-Why... Why... can't I win...?..."
The Original Maverick Hunter simply stayed silent, still unable to believe how the corrupted X was even still alive, he simply remarked "Because you lacked something I was lucky to have..."
The Copy's eyes widen, silent. The Real Reploid continues: "I don't remember much... But... I had told by a friend of mine that I was found in a place called Light Labs... I only have faint memories of that place... I believe... The one thing I got over you... Is empathy... and Fear. A emotion to motivate myself and to save others. Either they are Reploid or Human... I only wished your creator would of taught you these emotions..."
The Copy simply snickered and said "I see... The Original... Is motivated by..." He begins to grin his broken smile at the hero "You must know I must still try... If I'm going to die. I'm taking you with me!" The Warning blares over the two Reploids
The Original simply smiles "...Stubborn..." He then fires his X-Buster to mercifully eliminate the Maverick as he begins to walk away, his own body slightly damaged himself. He begins to rush his pace, that walk turning into a run and into a dash. X doesn't just mean a unknown factor... It also means Limitless Potential. It is unknown if the original X had survived the explosion... But. If he has... He knows it's not his fight...
+Michael Allen Not bad.... but.... o.o if you ask me.... I don't think you had X's character right in this case... He would never take pleasure in Destroying an enemy... Mercy kill or not... X HATED fighting... more than anything.. He had no love for Copy X to be sure (Telling Zero to "Terminate with extreme prejudice" was proof enough of that) But It's not in X's nature to Gloat or smile before destroying a Maverick that's why Zero was there by his side in most cases to have those final words. I don't believe X would regret destroying Copy X though..... but take pleasure in it?... Sorry it was a good try though but you missed the mark.
I wasn't trying to have him take pleasure. It's more like a confrontation of himself and understanding that he has to pull the trigger. Rather than him reveling in the pain. But. Yeah. I think I may of had X too willing to end a Maverick's life...

In Rockman X 5's ending, it is implied how X and Zero ended up being rebuild as ONE ROBOT, with X as the Default Personality, and Zero is the Hidden Personality. This is why in the ending, X ended up inheriting Zero's Z Saber, and also X somehow felt Zero is near him. X is meant to have a 'Zero Mode'.
Of course this X-Zero concept got revived in Rockman ZX, where Model X and Model Z merged with each other and also the Human/Reploid who is synched with them.
Now while t seems as if they left behind the X-Zero ending of Rockman X 5, it seems to be still a viable one. Imagine this: X and Zero got rebuild as one, then the left over components of them got rebuild as 'Other Zeroes'… One Zero ended up in Rockman X 6, while another, possibly in Rockman X 7. Meanwhile another Zero ended up being 'Omega Zero', while a partially build Zero ended up being used by The Player in Rockman Zero.
Note this X-Zero thing was also present with Omega Zero, as his gigantic shell had BOTH gigantic X Buster and Z Saber, ala Digimon Adventure's Omegamon's MetalGarurumon's Garuru Cannon and WarGreymon's Grey Sword… Yuuto Kazama voiced both for Yamato and RZ's Zero by the way…
X←→Z. Most likely the symbol will morphed back and forth according to the mode.
What do you mean it’s implied they were rebuilt as one? It’s pretty obvious “zero is still with me” was meant it in a non-literal way, like having something owned from someone personal to you who passed away. They were even planning to make the zero series right after X5, the idea existing even before X5 was released.
There’s only one zero in the whole series. In the japanese script of X6, zero doesn’t know how he was rebuilt, and when taken to one of the light capsules, it’s implied Dr. Light rebuilt him. The zero from X1-X8 as well as Zero1-Zero4 are the same character, just that his mind was put into different bodies. I’ll post another comment with the body timeline below.
Timeline for Zero’s mind and body
-Before X1-during X1: He had his initial body which was made by Wily. according to dev, he had been programmed to be evil on such a high scale it reverted him to be good, resulting in the personality we see him usually have. Presumably the zero virus in him was used in an attempt to fix this issue, until this transferred to sigma when they first fought(in X4 flashback). When sigma broke his forehead gem while he was stunned, it may have completely reset him similar to turning off an updating computer, hence he becomes not evil.
-Between X1-X2: he is retrieved from sigma’s fortress and rebuilt into the body he uses from X2-sometime before the zero series.
-X5-X6: doctor light repairs zero, although it seems it took longer for him to do so then with X, probably because X was his creation and zero is someone else’s.
-X8: it seems Zero has modified it to look more slim and human. Showing how his body evolved from the main X series bulky look to the streamlined version in the zero series.
-After X8: He continually modifies it more times before eventually looking they way it does in the zero series. Then his mind and body were separated so he could be willingly experimented on for stopping the Maverick virus. Weil then stole his body [X2-pre Elf Wars body], but luckily they were able to make a replicate body for zero that was mostly the same but weaker. Zero then kept this replicate body while keeping the same mind that existed all the way since X1.
-Before and during Zero 1: he gets abandoned somewhere sometime after the Elf Wars, breaking down, before the resistance come and repair him with a cyber elf.
-Zero 3: Zero with the fake body but real mind fights Omega, destroying his original body along with Omega’s mind.
-Zero 4: Zero sacrifices himself heroically, ending the timeline of his mind and body.

This patch does seem to partially work with the US version, applying the patches to the US version via Lunar IPS does change Zeros outfit to look like X but leaves him in Zero's colors and doesn't change the box with his face in it that comes up for dialog like the the patch does when applied to the J version. That said, I have no idea how hard this would be to fix and I'm really just posting this as a reference for anyone who comes across this hack in the future.

I know that from x6 and on the games aren't that great (burn, burn to the ground, burn burn...), but I'm going to stop at x6 because that is what the collection says. I've heard that X8 is either good or okay. I've only played X4 & X5 (because they're the only ones on PSN). The soundtracks for all the games are great though.

It's a mod that gives him the MMZ art style. It's what it would be like if he was still in his physical form in the Zero series. There are mods that make zero look like X from the MMX series. But I don't see the problem with this design, It gives it a different feel. I also don't understand him looking like a "tool"

What always confused me about Copy X is his power...just like the original shouldn't he also have infinite potential?
The copy lacks the infinite potential, Dr Light was the one that gave X this power.
Is one of the reasons as to why Zero calls him "Too Weak." in the first game.

Ciel couldn't do a 100% perfect copy of that power.

Yeah, In this I was getting pretty lazy. People insist on giving me shit for it and I get that lol. I was not trying to show off my skills I was really only trying to show off the patch for a friend.
