    I really appreciate this tutorial. I did my first cup and it did not turn out so good. I should have started with an easier technique. I had a spot under a part of my glitter that stayed soft. Like I cool peel it off. I am going to strip that cup. Anyway, I wanted to ask you, since the HeliosII stays tacky, how do you glitter using multiple colors without cross contaminating? I know you will know because you make the process look easy! ❤

      ❤️ depending on ur design, I would seal the area with helios then put a coat of HP. But If Ure doing like a tangram design, u just have to do darkest to lightest colour. Did i answer ur question? 🧐

      @Hyperion_uk Год назад

      One of the updates of heliosII is it doesn’t stay as tacky. So if you do get cross contamination of glitter it can be brushed off with a stuff paintbrush ❤

      @@Hyperion_uk thank you! I did try that but it was just a fail for me. I was trying Gold and White - Diamond glitter. I absolutely love the coverage I get with Helios. I am going to do easier cups with single color glitter to get used to it first. And try adding the HP over one section at a time to see if that works. I appreciate you guys.

      @@Hyperion_uk 😮 THANK U CATH! I only managed to play with helios II 2 days ago. 😂 I’m going to try and do tangram!

    Love the cup . I was wandering if you have to let spray painted cups gas off for 48 hours like with other waterbased top coat ?
    Do you have to sand the colour off a prebought tumbler like with other topcoat or just a scuff sand??
    Thanks so much I might just give this product a try. I Didn't think anything would tempt me away from the product I use now. But I am intrigued

      You jz hv to let it gas for 1 hour. :) and he’s prepping is important… so it has to be well sanded

    Can you use acrylic paint as a base before glitter?

      Hey Stephanie! Ideally not acrylic paint as a base. But if u have acrylic spray paint that would be a good alternative

    Do you need to put Helios over Waterslides as well? If so, how long should it dry before you add the Helios?

    • @Kruftisg
      @Kruftisg  Год назад +2

      No. Water slides you will need to use rustoleum clear spray. Let it rest for 2 hours then u Cn put ur cup & seal with hyperion.

    I'm ready to stop using epoxy even though I love the final results and try the hyperion. My questions are can I use mod podge to glitter and any acrylic paint for the base? or does it has to be the same name brand as the hyperion.

    • @Kruftisg
      @Kruftisg  Год назад

      Maybe use tack it by aleenes instead! Don’t use modpodge. Or their helios glue. And use spray paint instead of acrylic paints ❤️ hope tt helps!
