Thank you for shedding light on these good deeds he was constantly doing! It speaks volumes to his character. SO many aren't even printed anywhere, but you said it - the ones that are aren't well known for some reason. The juicy, scandalous stories get repeated but there's countless stories of him helping someone in need with few witnesses and helping just because he could. I know the generosity videos I make get less views. He should be remembered for his talents and caring nature. Great video, my friend! 💖

Thanks for the link on your community page Ashley it's so cool to see you support Mary Patricia. You are my main source for the humanity side of Elvis and have shown us all so much of his giving side. It's not surprising that your generosity videos don't receive the views but a shame, nonetheless. Unfortunately, people continue to buy the scandalous books and movies making them more profitable to make. With you both championing his story we have hope, keep being the rock star you are! Grace to you.

I went to a tribute concert for Elvis and the performer told a story of how Elvis gave away around 20 brand-new trucks in a day. He would buy a truck and drive around where farms were, and the first person or farmer he saw he gave them the truck, he loved the feeling of giving someone deserving a truck that he did it all day! I love Elvis, and people at school make fun of me for it but I do not care! Elvis is one of the most wonderful people to ever walk this earth and he deserves all the love!
I love your channel and everything you stand for, I wish more people were as understanding and lovely as you! I feel like we are besties, all because of Elvis!

Even Elvis critics admit he was a true giver from the heart and didn't mention or want to hear about anything he did for people after that 1st thank you. Jerry Schilling and Sonny West both said Elvis would help strangers and was adamant there was to be no press no publicity.. p.s. you had to have heard the one when Elvis heard of the poor black woman who was in a wheel chair, a total stranger to Elvis, and he went to her house and delivered a brand new motorized wheel chair that was futuristic at that time. He didn't want anyone to know. It's known only because his friends spoke of it after his death

It makes my heart sing to know younger fans such as yourself truly know Elvis the man and aren’t fooled by the misconceptions and untruths out there. Yes I have heard these stories…just wish more people had or that they were better publicised. I’ve heard many other stories over the years from friends who knew Elvis, these include him paying for family funerals, making practical gifts to strangers that changed lives and generally just being there for people. Promoting and celebrating Elvis’ true legacy is something I’ve spent almost 12 years working on and watching your video has made me very happy #thecirclegfoundation

I heard a story Where a young woman was stranded on the side of the road with her baby her car was broken down I remind you this is night time a car pulls up beside her and hands her a note telling her to walk half a mile to a car dealership so she grabs her baby and starts walking as soon as she gets to the car dealership the guy says that the car is already paid for all she has to do is drive it away she wants to meet the person that helped her out the guy said you'll never see him again that was Elvis Presley... I've heard so many stories about this man's generosity his love for everybody there's not A-day that goes by that I that I don't listen to Elvis Presley. The guy literally had a heart of gold. He had a Passion for music definitely a wonderful singer wonderful entertainer I don't care what anybody says Elvis is still THE KING in my book...

I'm a big fan of Elvis, I've known him since I was 5 years old, when I saw a documentary on a television station that talked about the king and his gospel songs, around 1993; Basically, I don't care what negative people say about Elvis, or what crazy stories they make up to damage his image, because I've seen so many great artists, including James Brown and B.B King, who always talk about how Elvis was a excellent person, handsome and the most impactful artist who ever lived; and I also read amazing things about Elvis' beautiful friendship with singer Jackie Wilson; and honestly I know that he was a wonderful, charitable, kind human being, and that he never sought the spotlight to show his good deeds, because he was, with flaws and qualities, a true Christian.
I also saw countless stories about charities that Elvis helped, simple people who were with him and who described him as a handsome man in every way, respectful and cordial; but it's very good, and nice to watch, a video like yours, inspiring, that shows, what I already knew, that Elvis Presley was a true hero, in music and in life.
Elvis Presley was, is and always will be my favorite singer of all time.
    Hugs from Brazil!

I've seen the movie Touched By Love. It's a really touching story, and it shows the kind and loving person Elvis truly was. The fact that Elvis took the time to reach out to this girl, and not just once, but in fact became her pen pal, is a really wonderful story. And I've heard of other stories like this, one that really sticks out in my mind is the story about Elvis and Denice Sanchez. Every time I hear that story, and every time I watch the footage of her meeting Elvis, it makes me teary eyed. I feel terrible because of what Denise was going through, and I also feel happy that she got to meet her hero, and it just touches my heart. Elvis truly cared for people, and he truly cared for his fans. Rest in peace to a great and wonderful human being. ❤️❤️❤️

The show Designing Women did an episode about Elvis and included that story but others as well to depict the uniqueness of the connection Elvis and his fans share but more needs to be shared. The conversation around Elvis has been stolen from him, his estate, and the fans who love him so much because of his humanity.

The man behind the image, truely was a vessel of pure goodness sent from above, with a soul full of compassion and a heart full of love.
I've have heard these particular stories Mary, but your so right for as many of these heartwarming stories we know of Elvis, there are so many more in the same vein we get to hear very little of or anything at all about. What we do know is that whatever Elvis did for anyone, he expected nothing in return, it was his privilege to do so.
Elvis was human, he had his flaws , don't we all , but surely any negativity surrounding his life and career should and can never be overshadowed by the amount of illustrious positivity he contributed to humanity throughout his whole life .
Mary this presentation was so eloquently delivered, a testament as who Elvis the man really was.
These stories and more like them are the ones that should be brought to the fore more often, I think we can sum this up by using the phrase, "far greater than the sum of its parts" .
Your love, admiration and respect for both the entertainer and man comes through loud and clear and holds no bounds Mary, thankyou.

I am so happy to come across your videos, I started getting into Elvis back in 2020 and I’m a young fan so obviously I’ve seen all kinds of Tik tok videos made about Elvis. And honestly what kept pushing me to look more into him was to figure out ok well why do so many people love him? Why people speak so highly of him. I kept pushing through, researching because I know that this was a whole different time. I needed to give Elvis a chance because many people of our day and age probably won’t. Now I’m here in 2022 and I still see him as the king. Also not to mention he gets mocked and ridiculed so much that when I actually started watching Elvis movies and videos of him, that also sparked my curiosity due to this image that people were feeding me in comparison to his real self. I was beyond shocked when I realized how human he really was..🌟🙌.

You should expand on this when the Elvis movie stuff settles down a bit. Like do a 3-part video or something about all of the generous things that Elvis did for people - events he showed up to and supported, things he gave away, people he helped etc.... Like maybe 1 part about fans/strangers; another part what he did for his friends & family & employees; another part about what organizations/charities/events he helped out. You could probably even spread it out to more than 3 videos if you got really detailed on some of that stuff. You'd probably have a lot to talk about and stories to tell and photos/video to show. I think you'd do an awesome job with it!

Excellent video Mary. You are absolutely right in everything that you say. Elvis had a super generous heart. It is aggravating that the media concentrates on the negative instead of the positive. I am sure that you have heard of this but I thought that I would add it. I can’t remember the year. I believe that it would be in the late sixties or early seventies. One of the guys had heard of this black woman with no legs. Elvis promptly told his guys to find the best motorized wheelchair that they could find and he personally delivered it to her. She lived in Memphis. When he got to the house he gave her the chair and picked her up himself and set her in the chair. He also placed $300 in her hand. Apparently the woman never recognized him. One of the guys said to Elvis that she didn’t know who he was. Elvis said that that didn’t matter. All that mattered was that she knew that someone cared. OMG!! Why aren’t stories like this publicized. This is a wow moment. You are right! There are so many more like buying cars for complete strangers. Buying his own ticket for the Aloha concert. Buying a boat for Danny Thomas for Saint Jude’s Hospital. And the list goes on. I just thought that I would share. Please keep up the good work! TCB⚡️

Elvis was so complex- such a generous and talented man. Elvis was an avid reader; he possessed an extensive library of books, including the bible, which he knew by heart. Elvis had impeccable taste, and whilst considered somewhat "unorthodox" , Elvis knew what shoes looked great with what shirt or jacket. Elvis was a pioneer and innovator. Much like his dance moves, his taste was dynamic and well-balanced. Elvis had a stellar voice, the kind that could sound both robust, soulful and angelic. Elvis also perfected Karate before it was a fad craze in the 1970's. Elvis never refused an autograph; he had an excellent memory and was philanthropic without expecting any personal reward. Elvis was unlike any other artist: he had the looks of a Greek God yet always maintained that Jesus was King, putting the cross before the crown. Elvis could sing- and did sing- every conceivable genre, beit Country, Gospel, Rock 'n' Roll, Jazz, Rythm and blues. In short, Elvis was the first major "star" to traverse an otherwise untrodden path in music history. While he passed away at a young age, Elvis lived more lives on screen, on stage and off stage thab any other artist. He also has captured more hearts. It is true what they say about Elvis fans: we are loyal, unwavering, blessed and forever enamoured. ⚡👑

Just found you yesterday. So glad I did. Think it is amazing that you are working so very hard to educate fans/viewers about the many good things Elvis did for random people and or organizations. I can tell you a sweet story that happened when Elvis played a concert in Terre Haute, IN. Elvis was staying at the Hampton Inn. The manager decided to close the entire restaurant that evening so Elvis could come down and have dinner and be assured privacy. The waitresses though were use to being busy all afternoon and evening. That meant they usually collected a fair share of money in tips. When Elvis came down for dinner, he talked with the waitress and learned she had 5 children. So he made arrangements for ice cream to be sent home for the children. Elvis soon realized if the manager had closed the dining room because of him then the waitress was missing out on the tips she would have gotten from the other customers. So he left her a $500 tip after their meal. He also had Joe Esposito give her 2 complimentary tickets for the concert that evening. She and her friend attended and Elvis gave her a scarf. I had front row seats for this concert and it was fantastic of course. I think this story is so wonderful, but I only learned about it 8 months ago. I don't know the waitress but I think it shows how thoughtful Elvis was in making up for the dining rm being closed in which case she couldn't earn her usual tips. I was delighted when I learned of the story and I think you will be also. I just know there are a million stories just like this one because Elvis was just the best humanitarian ever. He never forgot his roots and how tough things were when he was a young boy. Hope you enjoy. I'll be following from now on because I love what your doing. God bless you.

You've done a great job, to me Elvis was a greater person than he was a singer/actor/entertainer (and he was the best at that!). The story with the little girl was amazing and he also gave all proceeds from many of his concerts to charities. I don't buy into the Elvis was a party animal taking drugs and other sordid things. The people that truly loved him, never spoke of these things. I'm not suggesting he was perfect but at his essence, he was a devout Christian, an incredibly charitable human being. a loving son and and a loving father.

You look beautiful as always, and I love the way you dig into ELVIS,and all the things you uncover about him and share here on your channel with all us ELVIS FANS.The true diehard fans that know what ELVIS PRESLEY was all about. I agree with you that all the good stories about ELVIS seem to have disappeared through the years and now are like URBAN LEGENDS. It's really sad to think that people out there are just looking to write ELVIS PRESLEY off as a HAS BEEN, who has nothing to do with today's music scene. How wrong they are,and how UNINFORMED too!!! I truely love you for all you are trying to do for ELVIS PRESLEY and his PRECIOUS gifts of love andkindness he gave us all. We fellow ELVIS fans love you and stand behind you. You are blazing NEW FRONTIERS for the man we all love and know as ELVIS. Elvis was deeply complex and went through things none of us can understand or begin to comprehend and would allude to it in interviews ("it's very hard to live up to an image, put it that way") and was many things- I feel like I'm still learning, being an avid reader and student; it's good to bring up Karen and their pen-pal ship (I only found out a little while ago Diane Lane (!) made a tv movie about this in the early 80s' but did not know it was on RUclips so, thanks Sis!); this kind of thing shows that the good about Elvis wayyyyy outweighs the bad. I think Elvis was intellectually curious which is rarely mentioned (his creative frustration is rightfully mentioned but Elvis was an autodidact who read endlessly), and Jerry Schilling said how, being poor and from the South, they presumed that any drug prescribed by a doctor was *not* a "drug"- people hear this and just think Elvis was a simpleton. No- even ivy leaguers who notably don't go to medical school TEND TO BELIEVE DOCTORS. Elvis was complex but his generosity of spirit speaks volumes. All of this is available for people to read and well documented but people prefer to speak like experts after hearing cultural hearsay. It's lazy and damaging. So Elvis was complex but his sense of purpose as a catalyst towards the downtrodden was utterly sincere- I'm slightly older than you Mary so I've gotta point out how many people (tv hosts, reporters, comedians) were snide and mocked Elvis buying things for people, as if he was trying to be liked. No, Elvis was universally beloved by his fans even if he had some elements of insecurity- Elvis was generous because he *knew* what it was like to have nothing. Elvis was asked early on in 1956 or 1957 how many shoes he had; he gave the number and the reporter asked if it was normal to know; Elvis responded with, I came up with nothing and when you do, you tend to count when you're finally able to afford stuff. I'm rambling but it was nice to see you referenced Denise on IG today (I responded from my band's account)- I found that magazine and it was heart-breaking and moving, that poor little kid. Her smile says everything about those moments and, as I said, we do need to give Col. Parker credit too for taking it upon himself to instruct the venue to construct a special seating area just for Denise.

I read the book and saw the movie and cried in both. I read the epilogue sometimes and that makes me so sad I cry again. When Joe Esposito was asked about it he said he never heard anything about it and didn't think that Elvis actually wrote those letters. I hope he was wrong and that it wasn't one of the secretaries; I hope it really was Elvis. That poor little girl, she suffered so much. After that book, Lena Canada didn't write anything else.

I read in his t he faith of Elvis by his step brother they were driving along in his car because they both liked to go as fast as possible only when it was safe. Anyway Elvis saw a man he looked really down so they stop and he asked his brothet Billy Stanley to take out his wallet and gave the man his money, i carnt remember if it was 500 or 5000 dollars it was one of them. The man looked at money and said to Elvis i carnt take your money Elvis but Elvis said please take it i would like to help. The gentleman was shocked and said his thanks. Billy said that was the norm for Elvis he would do it all the time.He would never
would mention or talk about it to anyone,he didnt do it for that
He did it because he liked to help people he loved to see them smile. I dont care what people say about Elvis, Elvis was a good honest careing and loving man and the world was abetter place when he was in it.
