- Hi all, I came down with the lurgy and I've been a bit poo pants. I also had a wee melt down in this vlog....its normal right? We all have things going on in our lives that sometimes we struggle with.

I hope that you are on the mend from the lurgy? The journey that we have to navigate through (the great old menopause) is difficult and can feel exceedingly lonely and confusing. A plethora of ailments seem to land on us from a huge height, some without warning and others creep up slowly. It is like trudging through a steaming pile of dung on a rainy day- hehe why i laughed then at my own metaphor is alittle sad :). Commend yourself for all the great things that you are doing, take each day as it comes, do not apologise for being emotional, be kind to yourself, reach out for support xx

Oh Claire I’m so sorry you feel so low. Absolutely no need to apologise we all have our off days.Please speak to your doctor re peri menopause, have you thought about HRT? I totally get you re not having children on Mother’s Day. I don’t have children and lost my mum too so totally understand how difficult this day is. I hope whatever problems you have at the moment soon get resolved. Just remember you are not alone, you have your lovely parents, James, your brother and family and friends. Stay strong my lovely x

I feel for you, you sounded dreadful, the damp cold UK weather can't help either. This whole transition in life is extremely difficult, sitting in your car feeling that way took me right back to 14 months ago when I had a nervous breakdown completely out of the blue. I felt like i was someone i didn't recognise anymore. Dont be hard on yourself. Did you read anymore of Yellow face? I liked but didn't love it. A really good read is The Centre by Ayesha Manazir Siddiqi, my favourite book so far this year. Im also sending a huge hug and love xx

I do tend to isolate but also I lead a very solo life x
