The greatest tragedy the irresponsible and callous showrunner and head writer (otherwise known as Craptini) created since their tenure began at GH in 2012 is what they did to Frisco, Felicia, and Maxie Jones. It hasn't by any means been the only one (how about when they had Luke and Laura describe their epic love as a dirty old sweatshirt?), but it has certainly been the worst. These idiots somehow managed to get Jack Wagner to return for the 50th anniversary of the show and everyone was in awe, thrilled, and excited. For the first time in 18 years, he was coming back as one of the show's most recognizable and iconic characters/heroes. And what do they do instead of take the opportunity to right the wrongs previous writers had done to the Jones family?? They double and triple down on them and they threw away in one fell swoop all of the goodwill they had garnered from the fans when they brought him back in the first place. Jack was only going to be back for 10 episodes and he and Kristina were divorced, so romantic reconciliation between F&F was never going to be an option, BUT the fans were hoping for the Frisco we all knew and adored-the selfless hero and the loving man. He could have spent his days reconnecting with Felicia in a way that showed they would always love each other but could never be together because they were on such different paths in life. They could have shown F&F supporting one another as people who would always love each other but knew what the other needed (Frisco giving Felicia his blessing to be with Mac because he was the steady reliable homebody she wanted in her golden years and Felicia paving the way for Frisco to make amends with his daughter). Instead, loyal fans got bickering, petty jealousies, public mockery by a puppet, and a humiliating public rejection to a ridiculous marriage proposal. Oh, and let's not forget that after it seemed that Frisco would at least have some kind of relationship with his remaining daughter after having been written as a deadbeat dad just because JW was off canvas (because Maxie and Georgie could never be written to be visiting their father while he was between assignments at the WSB lol), he turns around and walks out on Maxie by saying there was "nothing left for him" in Port Charles because Mac was now "the man of Felicia's heart." Both of those things were a direct and deliberate attack on F&F fans who deserved better. The whole visit was a travesty, but hey, at least Craptini got their momentary ratings from Wagner's return. For me and many others who returned for the 50th and planned to continue to watch afterwards, GH is now dead as a result. I will continue to watch the Jones family on youtube and will celebrate F&F's epic love story whenever the mood strikes me. And for those who watched Frisco from the beginning and care about continuity, he will always be a man who loved his wife, children, and brother and NEVER would have been disloyal and utterly abandoned them for a life with the WSB. He would have been a part of their lives even if not on a daily basis. The end.
They also misled JW on the story they were giving him to come back for the 50th reunion--if you remember back when he came back for Georgie's birth there was closure made to F&F's relationship then, so this visit should have been about their talking about the past and what their relationship meant in the past and just to wish each other luck in the future and yes, it should have been about rebuilding a relationship with his daughter. But here's the thing they needed Robin there and since it's been said that Frisco was the head of the WSB the story could have been written that Robin was alive and many fans knew it why not have Frisco(who is one of Robin's godfathers come back to tell her family that she was alive and have Anna and Robert work with him to rescue her and then they didn't need to do the pathetic story of Patrick and Sabrina). That pairing never made sense once they had shown Britt to be Faison's daughter---If you go back to 1990 Frisco, Anna, Robert, and Sean to bring down Faison then why not bring Patrick into it to turn the tables on Britt and use her to get both Faison and Obrecht---that would have been a far more interesting story to watch than the one they wrote just to put Patrick at the alter when Robin returns and then try to make it look like he had a choice to make and drag out Patrick and Robin's reunion when she was only back for 6 months
AMEN!!! What they did to F&F was A TRAVESTY AND A MOCKERY TO F/F AND JW/KW.
Thank you for saying that about Luke and Laura. I might watch again if valentini leaves. He treats l legacy characters horribly.
GH need to bring back Georgie right now! They have the "resurrection power ". People who they need to kill off and let stay dead, they keep them around! These writers are pissing me off!

Yep and Dino's was gone when Frisco came back in 89. It was closed in 88 so they said when he returned.
"You didn't want the life you signed up for"..Maxie, that is a cop-out. WOW! Frisco is a dead beat dad, plain and simple. He doesn't deserve the accolades he gets.

Well I watched GH like the rest of America. I know he started out being a great person and very caring. I know he loved Maxie. Then....he's gone. I know he didn't raise his own children. He allowed another man to. I know he left his wife. Am I missing something?

tammyramey No he wasn’t he supported them financially the dumb writers never put it in the show! Felicia also had her part in letting him go off to spy land ! Watch some of the past shows! Maxie didn’t call him a dead beat! The life of a spy! Mac and Felicia were a failure on GH. Fastest storyline to the chop block!
gh writers did Frisco wrong and ruined a beautiful love story for f& F fans and The jones Family Maxie and her kids are the only Jones left Bobbie bj Tony Tanya all gone
Why is Frisco's voice so raspy? Sometimes I just don't recognize JW...his looks and now his voice. 🤷🏻♀️ Confused.

I think it has a lot to do with Jack being older. Or he may be playing the road weary spy who's spent 25 years in the field.

When Frisco said “in situations like this, someone always gets hurt.” He is so arrogant, not considering that it could be him. Mac is clearly the better man, and not just for actually sticking around and being a real father. He was willing to let Felicia go, if that was what she wanted. Whatever he thought of Frisco, he always put Felicia’s happiness first. But Frisco, is courteous enough, however he is so entitled and arrogant, and not in a charming way, in a douchey way.
Mac is not clearly the better man. He has just been on the show. When you are not on the show, the writers ignore you. That's on them.
Mac can also be arrogant and entitled.
Why is it that when kids are abandoned they are so much easier on their fathers in this case felicia abandoned them too but much later . Frisco took off and only met georgie once as an infant. Even when the moms raise the kids they still will accept an absent father much easier than if the roles were reversed. I saw an oprah episode where a mom abandoned her husband & 2 kids and it was this huge deal but dads do it sadly all the time & it would never be a show unless the dad was famous. Even jay z who's dad left he still loved him & eminem who is the angriest person ever was asked in an Interview if he wanted to meet his dad & he said I dont know. I totally assumed hed say no after all those songs about him. Plus he mentioned that it might have been hard for him to find him since his mother moved them every few months. I think he could have found them esp since they were in public housing and welfare.
Natalie Panaro Stack, Felicia never abandoned her kids. She asked them to go with her, but they wanted to stay with their friends. Why did Maxie and Georgie abandon their mother when she needed them? They chose their friends over their mother and their ailing grandmother who helped raised them.

They knew jack wagner had moved on so it was dumb to give him another child to abandon. I get his job was noble but he should not have had kids then if his career came first.
@@natalieps2387 , Yes. She was working. It was a job. She helped Frisco but her daughters were adults by then. Georgie was even married. When Robin moved to Paris as a teenager she was away from Mac. Why didn't Mac move to Paris with Robin who was just a teenager at the time? Robin is out of town with Patrick and their kids right now/currently. She is not near Mac. Should Mac move to be near Robin and Patrick? Why does Felicia have to be near her daughters even when they are adults and married, but Mac and other characters don't have to be near their children if they children are adults? It's very hypocritical and a double standard. Felicia has been back on the show since 2012 and she has had plenty of scenes with Maxie and with her grandson James. Why is it other characters don't have to be with their adult children, but Felicia has to be? That's not fair.

@@renealexander2703 that's a good point. I guess I'm talking more about georgie. Frisco had only returned after a couple years bc maxies was dying w/,o a donor. So frisco returned in his first childs most desperate hour. He & felicia slept together as people do during a crisis who loved eachother so much. They should have used protection bc now Frisco knew he was not ever going to be around. Felicia was seeing mac so their was a wtd story with baby Georgie. The show should have made the baby Mac's child but Frisco & felicia were the next big supercouple after l&l. Only the biggest supercouples get 2 bio kids. Maybe they though jack may return. Anyway when he did come back for a very limited run to meet baby Georgie, Tony was so furious with his brother for leaving again. Esp bc his daughter died , he gave her heart to maxie & tony just could not understand how Frisco got this miracle & his daughter was saved & he was not sticking around to raise her or the new baby while Tony's daughter was in the ground I can see his point. Also unlike the military Frisco I got the idea that they did not need the money from the wsb. Frisco could have been a cop or detective , commish in p.c. but he craved the adventure of going around the world. Some people are restless like this & would go crazy just staying home living a life that's rote.
A relative of mine for work travels the world bc he is a photographer & stepped up to producing docu series for History, animal planet & nat geo. He had trouble maintaining relationships bc the women in his life hated he was gone 6 full months a year bc hed do a project for 2 months straight look for the next job then another 2 months w/ a month or 2 week break. Also on his breaks he liked to surf all day. Each gf would break it off bc they wanted a man their more often. So he met a girl that he wasnt in love with but totally accepted his job. ( it was kinda a case of she loved him a lot & he liked her & she was the only one ok with him going away a lot bc I think she loved him so much shed take him in any capacity ) anyway after he lived with that girl 2 years u could see he didnt seem to love her or would get drunk & say she just wasnt the " one " so we asked him is she the one u will marry ? He said " I just want kids & I want a wife when u have kids " I wish I had said to him maybe change ur job duties so u can be home cause it's not right to marry a girl just bc she accepts yr traveling & to have kids just bc u think it's the thing to do ( all his friends were having kids at this point ) he could have taken a great steady job in the office producing from one location the docuseries. But he was a restless adventurer. So he married had the 2 kids in like a very strict plan. Cause of corona he has been home but b4 that while he was home taking paternity leave he was off surfing everyday while his new baby was home. So someone finally posted on IG " why dont u actually sornd time with ur child instead of surfing all day everyday. " so even when he took off his 3 months he would surf or travel for personal reasons. So people who have a life that they want being away I think should not have children bc if ur not around them what's the point ? Now a person in the military it might be they're best option
In closing my husband was very affected that his dad was always working & in school. When he married he finished college when my husband was born then went for a law degree which takes a lot longer when u have a full time job. My husband never played sports bc he wanted his dad there to watch & on weekends he was in school or working. He hated it. I know uts a tight balance work & kids I never had a mom home either like all my friends did which was more common in the 90s. For the first few years of my life I thought my grandma was my other mom bc she raised my brother & I til we both were in school. My mom & dad worked from morning til late at night & many times my grandma used to just let us sleepover bc wed just be back in the morning. My mom took a year off when I was in 6th grade & I loved it. To this day as a 30 something woman 6th grade was my favorite year of my childhood. No babysitters or people paid to pick us up or walking home & being alone til 7 pm. Then my mom was so tired after work she would have wine & watch her soaps to unwind. It's hard to be an active parent these days when u have a career.
