Actually there are a lot of plain states in the USA they are Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota North Dakota Missouri Iowa Minnesota Wisconsin and Illinois
This is just incredible. But only 2 map DLCs per year is too little. But I wanted it to have more complex logistics systems. That they would give more immersion and increase the difficulty in deliveries in general. A tachograph system (optional) would be nice, where we had to make mandatory stops. Manage our deliveries.
Yeah, in my opinion it would even be totally fine if they did a stand-alone dlc to play South America because it would take ages to get even to Costa Rica. Or they implement some mods into the game and use these as connection for South America. That’s the only option if they want to make it happen in the next 10 years
I love thats Scs continues to support Ats and Ets 2 ( hopefully until we get to Brazil or something) its like that wine that sits in the basement to get better and better over the years .
As a truck driver in Michigan I’m definitely biased, but our state would be awesome in the game and I feel we’re pretty underrated. Sucks it’s gonna be many years before we’re even close to getting Michigan 😢
I see a possibility that ATS goes east and does Missouri and Iowa first and then the Dakotas. Here are some reasons why: 1. As Pavel said, there is an emphasis of completing Route 66 which runs through Missouri 2. Kansas City is rumored to be part of the Kansas DLC. Having Missouri before the Dakotas completed will make sense 3. There are no direct interstates to go from Nebraska to South Dakota. To get to South Dakota from Nebraska with an interstate, you will need Interstate 29 which runs on the westernmost edge of Iowa 4. I don't know if the ATS community would like another Midwest state with not much exciting scenery. Other than Mt. Rushmore, there aren't a whole lot of activity in the Dakotas such as big cities or scenic mountains or lakes 5. The Dakotas will likely be one DLC as there is likely a problem of selling each individually. As mentioned, it might be difficult to sell either the North Dakota or South Dakota DLC by itself knowing there is not much in there
Well, it looks like you were almost completely correct! They're now working on Missouri and Arkansas but I can see them doing Iowa and another Great Lakes state too. After than, they might do the Dakotas as one DLC after they've finished going eastwards (temporarily of course) and hopefully they'll finally get to Canada. I hope they'll then focus on Canada, including British Columbia, and then add Alaska. After that, they should start going eastwards again and maybe add a bit of Mexico too, potentially as some kind of free update.
Adding a Canadian province or two would make sense since the Toronto area and Windsor etc is further south than many US states in the region. There would be a gap right in the middle if they exclude southern Ontario. How do the truckers in real life do that? Do they cross the Canadian border when they want to drive from Detroit to Buffalo? Or do they take the detour along the south shores of Lake Erie?
Pavel’s idea of following route 66 would create a greater interest in ATS over the next three years. Creating Missouri before the Dakotas would be a better option for jumping to Illinois earlier. The completed Kansas City and the iconic Saint Louis would be big draw cards. The Dakotas should be created after moving eastwards. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kansas is released very soon.
I hope that they will release all cities and everything for all 50 states and I hope that they make it realistic and not fake like you know visit the places and figure out how to actually make those places correctly.
I think the sad part is this is more or so turning into a scenery simulator. They really have not expanded on the interaction with the trucks or anything sleep related. Not even being able to interact more with truck stops and rest areas. D.E.F has not even been introduced. I love the game but there is not much immersion to really put in the driver seat of these beautiful rigs.
1:07 yeah and I hope they are adding everything that is in the real life and making sure that they have the actual street name and etc using Google Maps and any other real map because I will look for my mom old house in BC and etc and make sure that they are no more dead end so that way I can go through every street in every location as I hope they will have real company without mod in the future in fact they should do one or two Canadian provinces every year after they add the state they release the state and hopefully they will get all Canadian provinces and all 50 states including Washington DC.
❤❤❤ No puedo esperar a que todo americano esté terminado, va a ser hermoso caminar hasta Nueva York y quién sabe dónde caen las torres gemelas de Estados Unidos.
It was not really my guess, that's what Pavel said at 0:10. He said north from Oklahoma to cover the Great Plains. Louisiana / Arkansas are neither north nor Great Plains. Maybe they changed the plans?
@@AP_101 hahaha you never mentioned about the south AR/LA or LA or AR. But you made a news about the Midwest dakotas really?. Scs teased now Arkansas DLC so what's your alibi? 😆🤣
Obligatory disclaimer that I love the game and I know it's only a small team, blah blah blah etc. But the rate of updates for ATS is too slow. The time it will take to reach the east coast is going to be insane!
Pff 2 more years of the boring Midwest , don’t get me wrong , I’m glad we are getting more map expansions but i’d rather have them veering over to the east coast and back and finish the Midwest afterwards….
I gave up on this game in 2018 I wanted east coast states the west is boring as hell. It will take 20 more years to get far east. No way waiting for that long.
By chance SCS continues to manufacture 2 dlc's per year, so it will take 18 years to have the US complete. At least 4 dlc's per year, so it would only take 9 years to have this country complete.
Many seem to overlook this: the eastern states are nowhere near as big as the western states. Yes, only 13 states released so far but that accounts for around 50% of area of the mainland USA.

@@copi8527 ets better than ats i buyed on steam ets and ats but i play ets because is better than ats lol:)
@@copi8527also it sounds like they are at least floating the idea of a third new content for ATS dev group as they're expanding.
2 states per year means the states will be more detailed and not be rushed
This is better than 4or 5 rushed states per year
Atleast it's not 0 smh
1:05 Love this.... imagine how fun it will be to drive trucks in south america

I totally support the idea of exploring Canada
Yeah because I want to visit Ajax Ontario Canada and etc.
Yea they almost have to do Canada so we can truck up to Alaska
If you add a Canadian dlc I would definitely buy that
As a truck driver in Michigan I’m definitely biased, but our state would be awesome in the game and I feel we’re pretty underrated. Sucks it’s gonna be many years before we’re even close to getting Michigan 😢
Oklahoma, Kansas and West Balkans this year? What a great idea 3 DLCs by year :D

They'd have to pack those states and future smaller ones into a single DLC to make it easier to sell
Well, it looks like you were almost completely correct! They're now working on Missouri and Arkansas but I can see them doing Iowa and another Great Lakes state too. @1:30 Royal Canadian Mounted Police car :D Oh, Canada!
It was ProMods Canada Mod 😅
I have done Route 66 by car. So it would be fun.
I have only ets2 with dlcs but i see a ats video
Hopefully BC/maybe Alberta if they do the Canada ones based off his rationale.
yeah, would be cool to see Calgary, ab and Victoria, BC. if they keep continuing north, they can add Alaska as well.
Next few years are going to be great for ATS :D
Time to put Canadian provinces for sure! British Colombia and Alberta

I have the question that why isn’t Missouri coming in like 2024 because some parts of Kansas City is in Missouri
Can't wait to see more copy paste fields and sawmills.
Work on a British Columbia map DLC eh!
