Thanks for the great video, it brought back many memories from my childhood.. It was 41 years ago, when I was 14, when we retired our FH2 due to electrification of our family run tile/brick factory. It was in full working order then and has been preserved well since. Are these engines of any value today?

I was looking for some info about these kind of engines, a friend has a water well and uses a the same engine but on 40HP, the head is missing so wea re trying to get a new or second hand one to fix the engine and start it again! I saw a: FH 1 81/2 X 133/4 40 @ 500 Water 3709 J & H McLaren (Petter-McLaren) today, a clearing sale is coming up and I got to look at it. I took photos. Are these rare? It has the instructions up in the wall still along a old homested along the river. I NEED MORE INFORMATION
