Charlie, thanks for demystifying - somewhat - the usage and application for tying with deer hair. It’s a lot of info packed into the short video. Always quality when it’s coming from you and much appreciated.
Great video! Would like to see the same on feathers.
Hi ... I wanted to build a wooden jump frog or Thai frog but I wanted to do weed guard for the double hook can you please do it on mono please
Sure!
Very interesting & thorough.
Great video and great info.
Moose hair makes the finest Mosquito flies (for light and dark bands on the body,, which you apparently haven't tied!! I've been a Deer and Elk hunter since 1973, but I haven't analyzed Deer, Elk, and Moose hair like you seemed to have done, and with most due respect, I don't understand how your lecture is helpful to fly tiers in any Practical Sense!! Oh Caribou hair float good, but it's Very Brittle!! Hair stacker is another waste of money, as I just use my wife's old lipstick top, and it does the same thing. And Bodkin can be made with the cork top of a wine or carbonated Juice bottle, for almost nothing.
