  • Propagating String of Hearts is super quick & easy if they're variegated or not. One strand can give you multiple cuttings & a very full plant! Just cut your strand into single nodes, place on top of soil & into a bag or container, water thoroughly, and watch your new cuttings take off with new growth in under a month.

    I use the butterfly method to propagate soooo many string of hearts and string of arrows nodes/leaves..but I get the cheap 8 for a dollar clear plastic shower caps at the dollar tree and pop them on the top of my pots put them under lights and mine are now sooo full and growing huge leaves. It totally works! Good job. :-)

    You definitely have some patience there. I opened mine every day at the beginning because I was afraid of mold and to also mist it. I'm going to try to keep mine in the bag and not open it for at least a week. I noticed in some pots, I had a lot of leaves rot (mostly the all white leaves).

    • @ErikaLodes
      @ErikaLodes  3 года назад +3

      Trust me if it needed to be watered often I would have forgotten & they would be dead lol, so it’s not patience 😅 try not to mist them, that’s probably what’s causing the leaves to rot. You’re a very attentive plant mama 💚
