This fight was so awesome. Asta looks up to Yami, probably more than anybody due to his fighting style, and Yami is asking Asta, a rookie, to help him defeat one of the stongest enemies the kingdom has ever seen. No shit Asta was ready to go.
The anime stopped right when it was getting interesting and my god I really liked the animation in this fight. Hopefully the anime comes back with much better animation quality. We can wait, just hoping it will come back 🤞 I miss it when I used to wait for BC every Tuesdays

I can't remember how many times I've watched this fight sequence now, but it still gets me hyped everytime, even without hype bg music. I just love how yami assists asta because asta would not be able to keep up if not for the clutch saves by yami. Man, I hope all good fights in any anime gets this kind of animation especially when it's a team fight and not just one on one

Always liked how Black Clover managed to not just establish the captains as a force to be reckoned with, but also showes it time and time again how capable they are and keeping them a relevant power to consider in every fight. Sure Asta is getting stronger at an incredible rate, but it is not shown at the expense of lowering the captain power. Bleach could never.
