Sorry, but Legionary lost in list building. The Gunner and Hvy Gunner are outclassed by the Warrior. All the shooters, Bale & Shrive, should have been Tzeetch to make use of the mark and strat combo, boosted by the Talisman. Plus, they would have access to the firefight ploy for an extra APL when needed. Anointed is very good with Nurgle, since both damage reductions stack on damage of 4+. The Chosen is kind of a dealer's choice. Where was the Icon? Why turn down +1 CP every turn?
Totally fair that I probably didn't take the best list. At the time, 3rd edition was only a week old and it was my second game so I was really just looking to do something different than the old meta of 2nd edition. I'm looking at making better lists in the future and I'll certainly take your input into consideration! - Ethan
