  • We updated the combine with 360 Yield Center Chain Rolls to break up the corn residue. I spotted an issue with one of my soybean fields where it's got damage from the sprayer.

How Farms Work by Ryan Kuster is a RUclips channel based in rural Potosi, Wisconsin. Our mission is to teach those who didn't grow up on a farm what the farming life is like. These videos show the Kuster family working together raising cattle and crops. We believe everyone who wants to know more about farming should be able to share the farming experience with us and we look to educate the world on many essential agriculture topics.
How Farms Work takes place on ~1,100 acres with around 75-200 cattle at any given time. Four John Deere tractors are currently used on the farm, which are a 4020, 4640, 7600, and 8235R.

I really enjoy seeing the maintenance side of farming it puts a new perspective on the big picture on top of being educational my G Dad was a farmer and I miss being around the equipment and riding with him especially in the combine during corn harvest that was always my favorite I can remember getting off the school bus tossing everything down and running through the field to get in the combine just watching the header pull the corn in always looked like they were dancing and it was fun to watch

Its interesting the use of drones for agricultrical work, and documentation. Those rollers should chew up the stalks better. Love to see the residue at harvest and then in the spring.

Looks to me like those "stunted" beans will be too high in moisture to be combined with the rest of the field.

With our dealing (and neighbors) with nutrien they always say they will take care of you but never come through. Its a common theme of them screwing up and not compensating. I hope you have better luck with your agronomist! Hopefully they come through

Hello. Nice seeing Travis's boss keeping an eye on him😉. Have you ever considered traditional ploughing on a 3+ year rotation? Corn stalks would be mixed in well with the soil. I know you don't want or need soil erosion taking place but. Cracking vid Ryan 👌 stay safe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
