Watching Etho ,Doc, and the tech of techs stand around pearly's game saying "oh yeah that nice" is actually a great complement to Pearl's grow and skill in red stone.
I'm just glad we're getting more redstoners on the server 😁 But seriously, making a full minigame -- in particular, Wordle -- as her first redstone project ever? And doing it on stream? AND FOR SEVEN HOURS STRAIGHT?! That's a level of dedication I will always aspire to, but will never achieve 😅
You're like a proud father watching your kid learn their craft!, it's so wholesome, haha. I'm not a redstoner, but i'm also, so proud of Pearl... she's learning so incredibly fast!
Pearl was building her smelter just a few weeks ago and now shes built Wordle! In minecraft!!! Thats so incredible and you can tell she is really enjoying redstone! Also.. on stream??! @_@
"im not a nerd, i just play one on the internet" do we need to remind you about that time where you spent half the stream making a binary counter to track the minecarts going around in your base?
I believe it was either Etho or Skizz that also said Tango knows a lot about statistics, and as a stats nerd, I really want to hear some of that... (Seriously. I did a significance test to see if it was statistically significant that Grian hadn't caught a mending book)
@@DadL-wb9rm If I did it correctly -- I used my notes, but it's been over a year since I took statistics -- it was not. Grian would've had to fish more than 35,000 times and not caught a mending book in order for it to be statistically significant that he hadn't caught one. Of course, this was before we knew that the order of items fished is dependent on the world seed, but it was still fun to do. If any stats nerds want to see the comment (and maybe tell me what I might have gotten wrong) just let me know.
The fact that he is "stamp boy" and probably made most of those stamps, he pays for it, and then still get yelled at by chat for accidentally underpaying 😅
Lol the dono at like 25:00 that talks about integrating the Tango-isms into their vocabulary and Tango being like “fantastic!” Made me laugh. Because I have also integrated some of them (particularly Skadoodle because it works for everything and words are hard) into my vocabulary as well 😆😁
I picked up "doink" from him and didn't even realize until the next time I watched a VOD, heard him say it, and realized "oh THAT'S where I got that from!"
Actually, Skizz provided a bit of Ruber Ducky services in a previous stream of Tango's (talking about the hay bale autocrafter and why it was throwing wheat into lava).
haha doc trying to be as vague as possible "Building the thing now, can you hook your thing up in half an hour" Lets see what he has cooking this friday :P
I love the Skizz scream piglin doorbell, however I have a suggestion. If you go back to the old system with music discs and a jukebox you can add screams from other hermits and get it randomised which hermit screams every time. Bdoobs and Scap have great screams that could be added.
The steampunk airship will turn the base from awesome and amazing to epic. Yeah, I’m hyping it up, but I’m trying to hype YOU up to build it. Like your season will be remembered for the factory, but it could be also be remembered for the airship, it would be an incredible landmark Also block pallet, bone block feels cool for the fabric, also make sure to have the blocks underneath the airship be darker then the blocks used on top
Unfortunately I only got to catch a little bit of your stream last night because Pearl was streaming for so long. It was so awesome to see Pearl do redstone so well even though she is not very confident in it yet. And the fact that she made a whole game on stream... It was just too amazing. I can't wait to see you and other Hermits play! Soon she will be a redstone master and then it's your turn to become a terraforming master ;)
everyone complimenting pearl is so sweet and i love that segment but the whole time her voice sounds so hoarse like girl take a break for a bit 😭😭😭😭 SEVEN HOURS……. …
"I'm not really a nerd." Psssshhhhh that might be the biggest lie ever told by any Hermit 😂 You love D&D and Lord of the Rings, you're a former software developer, and you found a Minecraft niche in what is essentially virtual electrical engineering. Face it: you may play hockey, but under all the pucking nonsense, you're a nerd like us 😁
Watching the start, and I'm think one thought, this season the hermits are try to branch to their weak side, builders are making machines and farmer, and tech players are building with platte and terraformering.
As for you helping Etho: It can be helpful to have a knowledgeable person to explain things to, especially if the other person is able to ask meaningful questions. So you would probably be very well suited to help Etho (and think of all the Etho fan girls in your stream).
Tango-I love the zeppelin idea for your base construct! You could do a whole holding tank around it, with platforms and bridges and ropes and a steampunk clockwork tower, a whole mini landscape. I think there’s a steampunk city video on RUclips, you could even have different hermits contribute a piece to the steampunk tank!
Just an idea, in one of my server worlds, I did a steam punk - pun city. I built the 'dawn treader' ship but halved the size and then only built the front half and made a huge round glass portal, so it looked like it was coming out of the portal. Then I put my villager trading inside.
D&D is a team building, mathematics, planning, skill building and skill execution exorcize in theory dynamics and management. As well as a social outlet for antisocial individuals. Fantasy football is D&D for jocks...
It’s true, millennials were around for the brief period where we PAID for shitty ringtones, before everyone decided phones should always be silent. I used to spend hours carefully selecting songs for my friends…
That part sound effect at the end of the video when he's talking to Skizz is definitely a sound effect. I had to go back and listen to it but I have no idea where it came from because I was watching skiz's view live and it wasn't either of these goofballs
I'm guessing someone hid another noisemaker on Skizz's property, that's not the first time I've heard a random quiet fart from that general vicinity during someone's VOD. My prime suspect is Impy, who's been a bit frustrated at Skizz not noticing other pranks from him in a timely fashion. Perhaps he left the fart sound maker at Skizz's before leaving on vacation, expecting Skizz to notice it around the time he gets back.
Tango if you haven't seen it before, a lovely steampunk airship visual resource is the wonderful web comic "Girl Genius" by Phil and Kaja Foglio and Cheyenne Wright. Their preferred genre designation is gaslamp fantasy, but the airships are AMAZING.
My little Dungeon Master arrived while watching this :) The steampunk airship is worth an extra 10000 points if you do it on the diagonal. Yeah I know the farm probably won't orientate that way.
I think Tango kind of missed the punchline of the joke about helium and copper. Helium didn't react because it's a noble gas. It probably would have come across better if the person typing the joke had used their full names instead of the periodic table identifiers. Also, in terms of helping Etho with Frogger; sometimes all you need when you're stuck on a project is for someone with a similar knowledge base to point out the obvious thing you're missing because you've been looking at it for too long. If that's the case with Etho, then either Tango or Pearl could help, just by being a fresh set of eyes and solving what is, to them, problem #1, even though for Etho it's probably problem #3,076. He might not ask for help actually building the game, but if they phrased it as just tracing the logic and pointing out potential easy solutions, maybe he'd go for it? I've really loved the collaborative nature of this whole season, everyone seems so much more in touch with each other, and while Etho, Pearl and Tango didn't work together for a huge amount of the postal project due to various reasons, initially all three of them worked together on it pretty well. It would be nice to see that continue.
The ending of the first season of The Witcher showed me the future of the Witcher. There was an epic sword and sorcery battle between a mighty army and a beleaguered band of peasants and wizards. Many lives were sacrificed to hold back the big bad guys. It was super awesome, well directed, well acted, etc. can't fault it. I really enjoyed it.... but where was the titular Witcher? Was he front and centre of the battle, leading the defence of the realm? Did he ride in epically to save the day? No! He was wondering around a slightly misty forest for the entire episode. I could tell that the next season was not going to be The Witcher, but The Yennifer. So I did not even watch season 2.
You should replace the Skizz noteblock (for the piglin death hole) with a disc system, so you can gather a handful of Skizz scream variations and sounds and pick a random one each time a piglin falls.
I like how tango is worried that his copper farm is gonna look like an eye sore. Not seeing the massive factory that is still looking like a pile of dirt.
I found 2 amethyst nodes in an ocean 20 blocks apart. I cleared all the space around all geodes and then used the shards I harvested to make 2 large manmade nodes sticking out of the water. I then surrounded the open ends with hopper-mine carts and used the top layer of water to push the harvested amethyst which slowly floats to surface and then spills out of the open front and over said minecarts. Conduit nearby, just be careful swinging that pick around while swimming 🥹
tango could you set up a sensor 1 block from the bottom of the piglin drop after skizzs scream to trigger another sound disk of joel saying "OH SHUT UP! "

Same. Looking forward to the storytelling this next season, it’s just fun to watch. The haters keep clinging to the books and clutching them to their chest and screaming “heresy” all day long, and it’s just, like, find something else to do, man. They are just mad that they don’t have the skills to do it themselves. Authorized Fanfiction is proving to be lucrative. 🤷🏻♀️
can you imagine if tango for a season didnt use anything higher than basic redstone functions like buttons and pressure plates. and he has to make an actual farm and kill the ender dragon before he unlocks propper redstone

The Hobbit was super problematic for actors in New Zealand, since they loosened protections and pay, and essentially forced the country to codify anti-union policies into law (go ahead and check out The Hobbit Law), as far as I understand, essentially defining those who work in the movie industry as outside contractors and not employees, preventing them from unionizing. How'd they get a sovereign nation to do this? They just threatened to move Middle Earth to Scotland. Also, the weird love story between the elf lady and good-looking hobbit was weird; playing the Nazgul theme when hobbit king was being heroic is problematic; Legolas??; adding in the council with Galadriel and Saruman; the weird Gandalf-Galadriel innuendo. But literally being based on a story about a hobbit and his dwarf friends, and by movie 2, the only dwarves in sight are the good-looking ones. I can't watch it with the same love I watch the LotR with, it's just tainted.
Didn't he say in one of his latest streams that he was taking a break to spend time with the family? I forget if he was saying a week or two weeks or what there... But the latest vod on that channel was 7 days ago, so... *shrug*
Etho literally noping out at the mere thought of having to do doc's mailbox shenanigans is probably one of the funniest things this eppisode!
Watching Etho ,Doc, and the tech of techs stand around pearly's game saying "oh yeah that nice" is actually a great complement to Pearl's grow and skill in red stone.
