Should do at least 2 rounds for smaller tournaments, but 3 would be better if you really want that journey you spoke of. And 4 for the playoffs and majors as well for sure. Make it feel like you earned a major if you win it by being consistent all weekend.

Bought the deluxe edition on PS5, and I’m having a hell of a time hitting even half-straight shots. Going to be spending some time playing casually to try and get my scores down before starting Q School.
Weird that Lexi Thompson is on the PGA tour leaderboard. Not realistic at all, and disappointing that the replays are the same. Hopefully will get fixed as they get more feedback on the game.
Right that’s what I’m saying, a lot of weird things so far in the game, the females should have own league or tournaments…. I know this gameplay will be better than EA, but hope 2k fixes some of these things

Have you noticed glitches while playing? Example: you finish a round, it won’t change your outfit if you play more than one day, and it will also ruin a previous round scores.
Are u playing in performance mode or quality mode man? Bc I heard quality mode has alot of input lag an is not very smooth

Dude think your settings need adjustment. Colour is really over saturated and shadows are very dark.

Apex, do you recommend starting at Q-school for a brand new Career mode? This will be my first PGA tour game I am playing from the very beginning so wondering if it is worth it and fun starting from the very bottom and working to the top.
I would so you get used to the game, dont want to jump into PGA and get dog walked

What's the difference between the Quality and Performance setting on the PS5?
in games usually quality means graphical elements preferred and you might see some slight delays in loading times or see your framerate drop (barely noticable on huge consoles). It does mena that you get the highest quality, like 4k etc. Performance usually means the game drops its visual quality to ensure you can play the game smoothly with no lag, delays, etc. Usually games will drop into 1080p but you will almost never see any lag or delay and it is sometimes ideal for online gaming. The graphics in this game dont seem good enough for you to notice a difference tbh
@@eezy.knewsome I asked another NextMaker about it and he had tried it in both modes on what he said was a "developer XBox" when he was at the NextMaker event in Florida. He didn't know whether the developer XBox was a Series X/S, and XBox One X, or even possibly an OG XBox. He just said that the swing was a lot smoother in Performance mode. He actually said it was laggy in Quality mode and was at best 30 FPS. It's hard to make a judgement about it not knowing what XBox he was playing on, but at least there's a noticeable improvement in the smoothness in performance mode. I'd be more than content to play it at 1080p if I could get a solid 60 FPS out if it.

Looks like PlayStation has the easiest swing timing as always lol. I think it should be 1 round for all the events except for the Majors and The Players Championship.
