I just purchased this machine! I cant wait till it gets here. I am new to machine knitting. I also got a sock machine. So I am dedicating the next year to learning to knit on these two machines!! I am hoping to see more videos on this machine from you!! I love these machines with the "fingers" I see a lot of intarsia design possibilities on them.
+donna martin That is one great little machine. I have had so many machines that I did have to find a new home for this one. I do have a shortened LK140 that I can use but most times I tend to get the LK150 out more. Berda
Thanks on both comments. We love seeing the wildlife out here, hopefully one day I can get pictures of video of them looking inside one of the windows. We should see this one again through the summer but maybe we can see momma and the new ones as well. We also get deer here but they don't come as close to the home as the moose do.
Thanks, that yearling cow moose walked down our driveway about a week ago, I wanted to get 15 seconds of one of the videos in my next upload and didn't think I would have 8 new videos to get up until I was done yesterday. We are always thrilled to see wildlife in our yard, now if I can get a picture of video of a moose just outside the window would be great. Roberta
hi miss, is there a way to make a red rag, like you have there? My machine did come with it. Also there is only the needle lock rod but not another rod to pull out, so that I can move the needles out, that I need to use. Have you got any idea, what I could do?
Yes you can, you will need a good piece of material to where you can pull the weft out. I have been meaning to do that but with cast on combs, I really do not need one. But nice to have.
I have been meaning to do something like that. If you have any woven material you can pull some threads out sideways, it will be exactly the same. But you can also make a cast on rag.
CleverEwe Would that maybe be the Mini Knitten Kitten? I also have 2 of those, one is not complete and I purchased them to make socks with, but unfortunately the mini Knitten Kitten won't let me put the sts to hold for short rows, so I would either do the heel and toe by hand afterwards, called the afterthought heel (toe) or just use my normal machine for socks. And even though I can work them up tubular, I find to work them flat and have the seam is much easier for me to do, then it gives me something to do at night.

hi i have this machine and i’m having some issues with it jamming but only when i go from right to left. any ideas on troubleshooting how i can fix it?
Sorry your having issues. so this little machine has a bar that goes over the needles I believe. But this shouldn't be the case. Well if the bar is bent, then it could be the problem. Look at the underside of the carriage and see if the left screw is loose or missing.

+Jane Renee When taking a standard machine and working up as a bulky, you would use Every Other Needle. Now with those needles already set in place and the fingers move the stitches over the yarn laying in the hooks, you would have to do as mentioned but not sure how that will work. I no longer have that machine to try it out and see if it wold work. But maybe try doing a closed cast on with EON and when you lay the yarn across the hooks, of course it would only knit the stitches in the needles. I would like to know if this works out. Berda
It may, I just never tried it on this machine, although now that I am thinking of that, it could be a little more work to do but will make a nice cast on edge. I will try it when I get her out again but if you do try it, please let me know? Thanks

i have the longer machine. had to make a braid. how is it configured for worsted and chunke?

Would double E Wrap cast on make the first row easier to knit?
