To be honest, that's the one reason I didn't quite liked Boys over flowers. I watched the Japanese version first so it was a little hard to believe the girl in the Korean version was poor 😅😅😅
😂😂😂😂 I hate this repetitive cliche genre so much that I won't watch it if it's with this theme but I remember boys over flowers and the heirs, it was always my question how on earth are they poor but they wear so many different clothes every day! The heirs was even more ridiculous she was the daughter of a servant and went to a high class school full of rich kids yet her outfits were the same as others! Like girls shoes and coat and bag at least should have been cheap so others would suspect her being a rich kid. Some times they even were high end clothes too lmao!

It's easy to see why it was so popular in Korea and so many other Asian countries, this was a really cute drama it had just the right amount of everything, romance, comedy, politics, they had it all. very well plotted and the castings were perfect too.

1% of anything (2016) is my all time favourite. It was freaking good and refreshing.. So light.. no hard core dramas or head aching plot twists.. The chemistry between Ha Suk Jin and Jun So Min are oozing. Felt so good to watch this..

“Something About 1%” (or as the video I have “1% Of Something”) is so awesome! I loved the amazing chemistry of the lead couple Ha Seok Jin and Jeon So Min as Jae In and DaDa! And the whole cast is just terrific - Im Do Yoon as DaDa’s best friend Hyeon Jin, Kim Sun Huk as Jae In’s attorney Hyeon Joon and Kim Hyung Min as Jae In’s cousin Tae Ha. They round out a stellar cast. I really love Jae In’s staff, too. This show I actually bought, one of just a few ... I thought it was that good! It’s definitely a must watch....over and over! 😊👍😉

Can you make a ranking of the best k-dramas considering the music/OST? The k-dramas which stood out the most which i watched were Goblin, Crash Landing On You, Itaewon Class and Its Okay To not be Okay. The music is so beautiful in these dramas. The quantity of the quality tracks is outstanding.

FROM SOUTH AFRICA. Secret garden definitely the best. I have watched it 3x now. Never get tired of it.
Many will complain that their favorites weren't included, but this is a very good list. In particular, Sassy Go Go is perhaps the best, least known drama on the list and, while not really a Cinderella story, it is a tale of elites vs the underdogs and delivers a truckload of life messages. My list would have included Pasta and Shining Inheritance.
This list is uncomplete without Jasper liu shows and that's a universal fact! love from India ☺

Couldn’t agree more - where is Cinderella and the Four Knights? It’s so fun, dramatic and romantic! The cast was excellent, each character had their own story so well developed! Besides the main cast, in particular I adored Jung Young Joo as the housekeeper Ms. Beol Gyo! This is one of my favorites along with 1 Percent of Something, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim (almost anything with Park Min Young and Park Seo Joon), Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, and Coffee Prince - these along with are all my go to dramas to watch over and over again! And I also agree ... I wish I could be “rich” enough to have the phones, apartment, etc., that these “poor”girls have! LOL! I am just so hooked on KDramas! 😊👍🇺🇸

Sorry, but Nothing in these korean dramas can ever convince me to even fantasize about being poor. Korean dramas about rich and poor love stories are highly, highly unrealistic. Also, the way they represent the poor people, I mean living in a relatively good house, having ultra clean facial features, not having lack of nutrition or gadgets and clothes etc etc. And, the way the represent the ultra rich Chaebol families with People who are rich cause they deserve it or whatever, glorifying their rich profligate lifestyle, mom-dad are arrogant and proud but their boy/girl is just someone with golden heart...............etc, well, I mean really????

Mercy Maingi boys over flowers the Korean and Japanese versions were quite good, But the Chinese one made me angry , they were OBVIOUSLY trying to make the number of episodes more ( 50 Episodes ) that the drama story became sht like it was disrespectful how much it was obviously meaningless to extend the episodes count like it was sad because I really felt the Chinese version was the best in the filming and directing.

You all need to watch the kdrama THE DEVIL JUDGE. Its ongoing drama and not in netflix yet but maybe we can request it. It is a dark-thriller-mystery with a bit romance and familyhood kdrama. The best thing about this kdrama is the storyline isnt cliche and it makes the viewers on their toes with some twists and humour. This drama is at ep6 but there is a lot of things that viewers can learn mostly the law and societal problem in south korea. Jisung(Kill me heal me), Jinyoung(he is pychometric), Kim minjung(Mr.Sunshine) and Park GyuYoung(SweetHome) are the main casts. They are all star studded and I would say they have azing chemistry on and off cam 🙂
