Jimmy Page was once asked if he had Japanese ancestry. He said no, but when he was a child in school all the other kids used to call him Japanese. Interesting, I've always thought he had an Asiatic appearance. Great job !
Can't think of a bigger jimmy page fan than myself. What makes this great is his tone of the les paul is the closest thing ever to Jimmy's tone. Unbelievably cool
2nd viewing he also knows how to just be “off” slightly.@ 0:51 he starts the descending solo exactly the way the Master did it. The key to Page’s playing is Tight but Loose cus he’s constantly improvising. Not Sloppy just extremely Fluid! Awesome.
I have been to 3 led Zeppelin concerts in the 1970's and still have all the albums they created.I will say that Jimmy Sakurai is the twin of Jimmy Page.I am 65 years old now.Good Memories.
I saw Jimmy Sakurai in Las Vegas as a Led Zeppelin tribute band wow what a show n his band member told oh the real Jimmy Page attending his show n Page ushering them on to play when they realize J Page was in the audience. 🎸🎸🎸❤️ in this video I see Jimmy with his new band ☮️
Apparently Page saw him do a live performance and was really impressed with the guy , that speaks volumes if the person he's impersonating enjoyed what he did.
If there ever was a Japanese Jimmy Page, i found him. I think he enjoys mixing in a little bit of Eddie Van Halen influence as well. And he has his own style over it all as well. He's great, love it. I'll bet Jimmy would love it too. Immatating is the most sincere form of flattery. And oh man, the singer looks so much like Robert. Gotta search these guys out and see what they sound like as a whole.
Amazing compilation of Page's classic, live improvisations of this solo played over their '71 - '75 tours. Would have been sick if he'd thrown in a few snippets of the sloppy, mistake-filled licks after '75, when he was strung out on heroin. Some of those were truly dreadful - i.e. Kenworth or Zep over Europe, their last tour. This was sublime!
