These sounds like my sort of plans! Bonkers😂Love your hair like that Angela. I’d like to make the Elodie dress which I bought last year and jumpsuits! I’m looking for the perfect one.😳
Ha ha, I think you are back to your normal happy self! Love your hair, is it natural? And I thought it was a model wearing the Shelby romper and realised it was you! Happy for you Angela, keep up the videos.
I just found your channel a couple of days ago whilst looking for somebody making the tilly and the buttons indigo dress, and i've been bingeing your videos ever since! I love how friendly and cheerful they are, and how well you explain everything! I've been sewing snall things by hand for years but i've never made a wearable garment until recently when I met my amazing teacher at university, and I've been hooked! Love your videos and I can't wait to see what you make this year!!
Not a bad video at all - I think a dose of realism for what is achievable when time is limited but not being bound by having to achieve if not possible and putting constraints on ourselves. All good and healthy in my book!! Thank you for sharing
😂 love your energy in this video! Love your hair too!! Definitely save you time making any dresses other than the French poetry dress, it’s beautiful and would look great on you! 🥰
This was a perfect video! I call it thinking out loud to friends. And I loved the Phoebe reference from Friends! 🤣 Michelle got me totally excited to make Tilly's Safiya dungarees, too! Mine will be in a perfect shade of purple, my favorite color. And I have so many printed fabrics to make tops to go under the dungarees. I'm so excited! But first I'm in the middle of making Mood's free sweat suit pattern the Hickory Ensemble, for the March Sew Frugal challenge. Anyway, I loved your excitement and enthusiasm for your potential plans! Have fun!
Haya. Absolutely loved this 🤩You are everybody's ray of sunshine 🌞especially as you are as bubbly here 😄Wonderful plans, look forwrd to seeing them as you make them. Thanku 'sew' much for sharing 🪡✂🧵🙂xx
Definitely start on summery dresses it’s good to be ready for unexpected sun! I’ve just made the True Bias Southport as I like the fact that the drawstring waist will adapt for my changing shape
I've just bought the style arc Philamena dress pattern . It's very much like what's in the shops now it has a little Sheering which I love . Have a look I think you might like it. Looking forward to seeing your march makes xx
I love the Eva dress from Tessuti especially in 100% linen - its a gorgeous lantern shape with lovely topstitching on the panels. I love it so much I've made 4 for myself and 2 for family so far with more to come. I love colour blocking it by using a feature fabric for the bodice, binding and pockets then a plain for the skirt panels. Happy summer dress making Xx
Haha - great video Angela - rather mad than sad 😅 I'd love to se you make the Pleiades 2 - I have that pattern as well, and will make it at some point...
I am ready for spring dresses, too! Can't wait to see what you come up with. May I suggest the Victory Patterns Sophia or Style Arc Ariana for shirred dresses. Also, for summer shorts, I think the Alina Design Co Chi Town Chinos would be lovely for you. Happy sewing!
The Style Arc Asha is lovely! I have made a few. It has fab shirring. I am desperate to make the Anna Dress. Would love to see your review on that if you make it!! It is so different from what else is out there!! Xx
Angela, I have made the Stylearc pixie dress twice out of a knit and drafted a neckline facing / band thing. It doesn’t take long to make and I’m already planning more for this Summer.
Check out the Pattern Union Phoebe freebie jumpsuit. It’s a free pattern with loads of options and looks lovely and floaty. I think it’s right up your street. Love your wild ideas😁
Oh Angela it was lovely to see you so enthusiastic about your sewing, I definitely agree with the idea of not sewing any more winter wear. I’ve been busy sewing lots of summer items for my hols and one of the items is the sea change jumpsuit by pattern emporium great little outfit and such as easy sew. Also the Sunday romper suit by love notions is a gorgeous little outfit, and the Ariana dress by style arc does have some shirring at the back , buttons down the front and a lovely fitted bodice, just a few for you to look at. Xx
I .ove your video today. You're in great mood and loved the breaking into song. Sounds like you are very over your winter and looking forward to warmer weather. I'm similar except opposite season. My recent #fridaysews was about summer.and looking forward to cooler weather...happysewing.
Who are you and what have you done with Angela? LOL Happy to see the happier Angela since the video a few months back, Spring is in the air and time to have fun! Enjoy the chaos of March and if you don't get anything made, so be it, life will go on and we will be patiently waiting for when you do! I think the Elodie would be an easy peasy one for you for March if you choose to take the mission! lol
This is certainly not a bad video, thanks for sharing your plans and energy! I'm just making my first BHL Anna. Had a bit of a battle fitting the bodice back... made 3 (!) muslins and still ended up cutting and taping the last one! 😹 But from now on it should be a nice straightforward project. Would be nice to see your version, too!
Your video really made me smile. I watched Andie this morning and put the Pleiades dress on my list of patterns to buy one day… (it’s the name of a constellation and in English we don’t usually sound the ‘e’ so it sounds like ‘pliades’ if that helps?). I have just bought the Shelby recently and have had the Anna for about a year. I’m hoping to make both soon. I love shirt dresses without sleeves and collar in the summer and like the Vogue 8577, though it’s fabric hungry. I love the M6891 but ignore the photos and look at the line drawings. Lovely dress! I made the M8177 last summer and it’s lovely.
Lots of brainstorming of the best sort 😁. I am trying to find a free pattern for Sew Frugal 2023 to do a drape neck summer jersey dress. I am sure one of the Vloggers will come through for me 😉. Totally ready to celebrate summer with bright dresses. Look forward to seeing whatever you actually can make time for.
There’s a Sheered Dress in The Great British Sewing Bee Book you may like, I’ve not made yet, its a simple fast make by the looks of it. A great cheery vid, 🙂like your style of dress, very much me also, lovely ideas for that warmer weather. Happy Sewing from Dorset. 🌼🌞
Hi Angela just letting you know in my comment from the last podcast I had a reply which I'm sure it's not from you saying I've won a prize in sure it's a scam but sure if you can block them or what just wanted to let you know take care xx
I love your plans! Yes get ahead and be ready for summer ☀️ in the UK we know it will come at random times 😂
Thanks for the mention too xx
😂😂 you were so funny in this video lol. Will look forward to seeing what you end up making from your plans/non-plans! Xx
Love your energy and your personality is shining through 😊 can’t wait for summer. Love your ideas and plans x
Very fun video - the no plan plan video 😂🦖 i love the masin cloud dress
You look so relaxed in this vlog, I'm sure whatever you make will be fantastic.
