I like questing. And Onett usually gets you to do tasks for each color so I leave them there.
If you are solely focussed on honey collection then sure swap them out.
PS: Gifted abilities are good for the hive, but I mainly have Spicy for another way to spawn rage tokens and it has way better conversion than Rage Bee.
