Honestly, 2018/2019 is the most fun I had.
@lemontreatYT what's the last song you used called? And my favorite era was when puppy bee was added, because he was my first event bee, and plus it felt so calming back then and not so "you got to get endgame loot to be good".

I remember joining bss in 2018 and back then i was a stupid child and got scared of the ladybug. I left.
Do you have phobia/fear of insect? Because it looks really cute when I first meet him, but also got scared because I didn't know than I would get hit lol.

Awesome video to honor BSS 6th birthday. Thank you for walking me through it from the very beginning. I’m not an og player (started about 2 years ago) so it’s interesting to see how much it actually evolved the first couple of years of its existence. All I know about BSS is “update once a year” and I only managed to enjoy Beesmas once. But I still like to play the game as of this moment and it’s all that matters. Hopeful for an easter update, but if not, then I’ll just play until it doesn’t bring me joy anymore. No hard feelings for Onett. Happy Birthday Bee Swarm Sim! 🎉
yeah the old updates that would come every couple of months hit just as hard as the beesmas ones; really sucks we won't be getting them anymore, but at least we did get them!!

This was a well made documentary about the history about BSS in 6 years. It's crazy to see how much has changed, but I'm glad I grew up with this game and was part of the journey! I still play this game from time to time waiting for beesmas or some update to come out. Don't get me wrong, it's still fun to play to this day and I enjoy playing BSS everyday!

Onett is mostly a young adult and he cant quit the game cause its his job he mostly is working on a big project or big update onett is soon to return to his throne of the #1 simulator game..

We might still have beesmas, as that Onett has been hinting at it (classic event, and cub skin)
BSS has earned him tens of millions (presumably due to gamepasses and visits) so no, he is working on it as a passion project.
The gummy bee one hit hard in nostalgia.
I never finished the gummy bear event and never got the bee but I checked the ticket tent and saw it there, I got so happy about it.
When I got to like 300+ tickets, Onett changed it to the one we have now which made me so sad but eventually realized it's so much easier...when stick bug finally arrived that is.
But yeah, thanks for the nostalgic throwback.

Dude im like, a day 10 player and i NEVER could of imagined hiw far it would go. Onett really did a great job on pushing production through his motivation and creativity.

Its crazy how such a simple bee game turned into this awesome game and I loved seeing the game get updated a bunch and the best thing they added was the easter event and the sun bear event
Damn i feel old now since i joined BSS before the gummy invasion, left it at around 2021 and now returning. Those were the days
Thank for for this documentary. I stopped playing Bee Swarm since Beesmas 2022 due to the lack of updates and the increase popularity of macros. Every time I join a server now in 2024, the game feels so empty with over half the lobby having an auto-hotkey or a macro script running in the background, so I just gave up entirely on the game after I unlocked the Endgame weapons with a lvl 16 hive.
it’s a shame, the only reason for macros is because the game is simply draining, im an iphone user and I don’t own a pc, and manual playing is just nearly impossible

SOOOO much has been added to the game over time (i still barely understand stickers, beequips, and nectar haha). i can’t imagine how confusing the game must be for people who start playing this year

you forgot to say, in beesmas 2020 there was a glitch that you could spam onett's happy beesmas dialogue that gives the honeyday bonus etc. when u entered the game by talking to him multiple times which allowed me (and alot of other people) to get thousands of micro convertors, field dice and more, it was patched quickly after and if u had more than 50 of those items they would reset to 50.. pretty funny

Bee swarm simulator will always be a good game there isn’t another game that can beat it in its genre
Turns out nothing changed with Onett's motivation for a few years and this beesmas was just him having enough for a few months.
I feel like the best time for the game was when they introduced levelling and gifted bees. It felt like a completely different game after that update!
If onnett didn't burn out I think we could still be in a beautiful age of the game. But still happy 6 years!

I lost alot of my accounts and spent most of my time on bee swarm. Played since 2018, all my progress were lost and had to restart which i dont mind, i like the early game grinding.

I started my BSS journey before the mythic bee update, lost 3 accoutns since then but im end game now.
I remember when i was scam in 2018 or 2019 when I was looking through the bundle and saw yhe festive bee bundle so i save up but by the time i bought it i didnt realize it changes into the puppy bee which sucks so rip 800 robux

Did you mention the incredibly broken market boost system? That was a nightmare which ended up only being used by the very top players because no one else could afford to use it.

Honestly, I used to love this game so much but honestly there isn't really much to do in this game anymore, because of the lack of new updates and since there's still no Beesmas update, I stopped playing the game ever since there's nothing new.
Though yeah, the game is still pretty fun and I love that it's here for 6 years now but my problems with the game is there's no newer updates coming ever since.
However that doesn't mean I shouldn't wait for Beesmas, like yeah I'm still willing to wait and surely Onett would probably get TDS syndrome where he gets more developers and more help like TDS otherwise so that updates can go out faster like how TDS did.

I joined during the gifted bee update and instantly my first silver egg was a gifted lion bee I still have the bee in my hive years later (i quit)
