- Saddleback Leather makes some of the best leather bags around, and recently we got our hands on one to see how well it works for MacBooks and iPads. We loved it overall, but we do wish there was a dedicated laptop sleeve inside.

I’ve owned this backpack a year and love it. It’s so sturdy and comfortable. I hike with my bag and don’t use the padded straps. I’ve been through rain and snow with these bags with no issues.
Got the original front pocket backpack. Dude. This thing is so well made. Absolutely well made.
It’s tough to work with at first but yes. It will get more malleable over time. Highly recommend it. Exceptionally well made.

I’ve had a large Saddleback briefcase for 7 years now and I love it. I use it for everything and I constantly reload it. Yesterday I was at a junk store and found this same backpack in this video for 100 bucks. Unbelievable!!!. It was hardly ever used and had no signs of wear. One hell of a find.😃👍

Got this bag 2 years ago. Update: I still like it! Carry it to work. Haven’t bought another bag since. I use it to travel. For work. It looks great at the beach and just fine at a law office. EDC.

I dont think being slower at getting stuff out would essentially be a bad thing. I see it as harder for someone to check your backpack pockets while your walking around. 👌 I'm a big dude though, I'm not sure if I want the big bag or smaller bag. I'm 6'2 and 240lbs. Would I dwarf this bag? 🤔

There's no doubt that Saddleback Leather products are top-notch when it comes to their quality and appearance. However, there is one problem: none of their bags and backpacks can be locked to protect what's inside. In today's world, thieves are everywhere, and they won't hesitate to snatch valuables from tourist bags. The best defense against such incidents is to have a bag or backpack that can be locked at all times. Unfortunately, this feature is not available in any of Saddleback Leather's products.
Well a thief can easily open a zipper or flap pocket . Unlatching a thick leather strap is way too hard for pick pocketing. Slice and grab might work
I can make better than that for that money right now…
Looks incredibly heavy and uncomfortable.
