EXACTLY, annoying this is why I still haven't beaten the poorly implemented shadow of tomb raider. "Puzzles" like this are not challenging just wasting time, there were really no hints. Those with a "life" don't have time to waste on a product they paid for to relax of all things sheesh.

I went on here to try to figure it out and then before i even watched the video i used common sense and rubbed my two brain cells together to realize that you have to match the shadows of tje lights with the two round rocks on each step if anything its actually one of the most easiest puzzles in the franchise...... Its because people just expect nonstop action and bombs and explosions going off. Nobody wants to take the time nowadays to sit down and really pay attention to the story and whats going on. They just want to go go go like call of duty nowadays.

i got so stuck on this but now i realise how easy it is XD.
So basically when you place the balls on the little stars it rotates them and you just have to rotate them until it matches the light
