It seems like ages ago, but it was only last Thursday that it was confirmed that Hamilton will leave Mercedes to join rival Ferrari at the start of the 2025 season. And this will have major, and I mean major, implications for the grid. Not only will we see big driver switches, but also engineers and masterminds behind the cars are switching teams.

The reality is, there is no "Huge Trouble" here, these professionals move around all the time, in fact Lewis and Bono have rather overstayed at Merc-AMG. This is why all these teams always have rather relatively short contracts for the stuff. People are always making moves, 2025 could be crusher for Mercedes but it might not be, after all a lot of movement is going to happen all around in preparation for all new rules of 2026. Nothing is set in stone in any job let alone F1 where drivers can get hired and fired mid-season.
Why would Max go to a team in disarray and questionable leadership? Losing Lewis is a bad sign. Looks like he’s abandoning a sinking ship.
I said at the beginning of Hamilton's career he would end it at Ferrari, I wish I'd put a few bob on it.

Some Mercedes AMG staff will go to Ferrari because Hamilton is going there, but not all will want to do so. Some British technical and engineering staff really don't have to go abroad to earn a living, so are not that adventureous.
Max verstappens back place is the exact same shape and size for cans of redbull just to be placed there wi no force whatsoever not sure about sideways yet but that exhaust pipe is well on its way 👏

I lost respect for Mercedes. When Toto did not stand by Lewis after Nicky died. His ego got out of hand. Lewis helped to make Mercedes the powerhouse it became.

These Hamilton fan channel really overestimate Hamilton and his influence. Just because you are obsessed with him, do not assume everyone including Mercedes engineers all consider their lives meaningless without Lewis Hamilton.
