How HEAT changes your Tea

Most tea goes through a heating or cooking process during its production. How the leaf is heated has a huge influence on the character of the tea so it is worth knowing more about the different styles.

I absolutely love your videos! I am from East Frisia, Germany - a place where tea is of great importance. I grew up drinking not only East Frisian tea but basically anything the local tea shop was selling - and I thought I knew "something" about tea. I've been roasting/pan frying staled tea for years, but I've always felt I was doing something "wrong" or at least "unorthodox" 😅. I'm so glad I wasn't alone or wrong altogether. Probably because I live in a hot umid place. Maybe that's the cause, I don't know. I do my best for storing tea the right way, but still it's not enough 😩

You can drink tea grandpa style with the leaves still in the glass by using a tea straw AKA bombilla!
