I really like the mods you have, but also recommend the "Portable Scanner" mod, which helps in the storeroom. Like when you noticed "oh I need two orange juice" you can just middle click on the rack label and it would add them to your cart without the back and forth.
Thank you so much for sharing those mods! Especially the storage room delivery mod. An absolute lifesaver as otherwise the game had gotten too grindy for me.

If you want to clear a shelf, so you can change the product, hold an empty (or partially empty) box the right size and right click on the product to put it/them in the box. If you have partial boxes in your store you can use the same method. Take a box into the shop, take a couple of items then switch boxes to empty the other one - that way you only have one on the store shelf
5:00 "Hopefully there will be a day where I can click these and re-box them." Pocket boxes allows you to do precisely that! Although you do have to be a little bit quick with emptying the shelf and k¡lling the label, before the restocker gets to you. Lol
Indeed it does. That day came in the next episode I believe. You do have to be quick though you're right, although if you disable the shelf before removing anything that usually works. Although sometimes the restockers ignore it and restock it anyway haha.
@@tpgamingx12 I set it to 25 cents per item. I also use the mod that increases order size so when ordering 50 boxes at a time it's still a cost just not too much. The original $3 is excessive. Some boxes only cost $7 it shouldn't cost half to stock it. But that's mods, we all use the ones we want and config as we choose. Wasn't sure if you were aware of the cost or the option to change it though.
Not the option to change it, and when you put it that way about how it's $3 even for boxes that only cost $7 it could maybe do with some adjustment. That will seriously eat into profits.
Catches me out all the time 😂 I think it's because we add it up using rounded coins and then add the 5p and 1p ect.. for the last bit. Sometimes it's for speed as well though. I can click the 10 cents a few times without having to move to somewhere else.
There is the store delivery mod shown in the video that automatically puts it in storage for you. But there is no automatic ordering mod if that's what you mean? There is a mod called magic restocker where the restockers can restock the shelves without moving speeding everything up.
@@tpgamingx12 (Late sorry) But I mean to say that like I order something and it automatically restock the shelves or you select the areas it should restock the shelves to make it 4 of 1 whole product in 1 shelf like no need of restockers
I can't remember after which episode it was that I was able to start using it. But before that any boxes placed under the shelves would go red for me and I was unable to do anything with them apart from put them back again or onto another rack on the shelf.
My current level is 39; I do fire one checkout every now and then, and i store 2 of each box empty by the front door for if i want to change the stock on the shelves to another location, its like a race. and the sorting of the stock shelves I now do them, as the "full list" so i dont organise from dry/cold/etc.. just go down the list, and have a whole shelf for the largest boxes, and 6 spots for the slightly smaller etc etc... it gets hecktic thats for sure.
I like the automatic pricing mod available, I have it set to round up to the closest 25 cents of the market price, and it updates every day when prices change. Or, you can have it set to not round and instead go off of a percentage markup.
Did some experimenting a few episodes back with it. At least at the time you could get away a few cents over before they would complain. Once you get to that threshold they stop buying things and you lose store points. I tend to stay at market or a few cents over/under incase I forget to set the prices gives me a cushion. And we still make good profit because the purchase price is way under the market value.
@@tpgamingx12 Ehh, i'm usually pretty close, the hard part is getting like, 20 cents or more over market price. Water is like $2.02 and i'm selling it for 2.25 and SOME people don't like that, but I find it rare, i usually don't get more than 10 people thingking things are too expensive, but the mod does let you set custom rounding, so you can have it round to the closes 0.10 instead, so 2.02 becomes 2.10 or it could round down also. As well as doing a percentage with a penny dropped off, so 2.02 is seen as 2.01 and then 10% markup is added, so you sell it for 2.21, and then can also round after down to 2.20 automatically at the start of each day when it checks for price changes.
I might give that a go, especially as the store grows larger. If you miss a day or two of price altering having to go through the entire thing would be tiresome.
@@tpgamingx12yep, also the dev is making an update that allows any box to take it off. As it has to be exact size right now. Which in my opinion is unnecessary.

I'm not a big mod user either, but once you have done the first couple of these ones I actually found them not too bad. So a good place to start I think.
It may very well be something coming later. Just, other things are probably taking priority. I'd maybe see it coming as a new page on the pc, or maybe a report after the finance screen showing what has gone out of stock or number of items. ((presumably with the assumption the stockers count everything at the end of the day when all the customers are gone and the store is closed. Real time updating numbers would be nice but maybe not fit the current style. Idk. It's a realism vs quality of life balance))
I believe it is something that is coming to the game from the developer. It was mentioned in the roadmap. There should be an app coming in the game for stock. It has been a single dev working on most of the game I believe so it will be coming. But things take time, so the mod bridges the gap quite nicely.
@@tpgamingx12 I'm certainly in no rush to see it come as a priority for sure. I'm probably going to start doing this since, I only sell 2 items per shelf, i fill them in vertical columns.
You'll need to go to the nexus links listed, most mods will have a dependancy on a loader system, you unpack that in the game's root folder. That has a place in it for plug-ins that use it, or the other Melon Loader (the suggested mod I can't remember the name for but will add in another reply later). You simply go to the nexus, grab the zip file of the mods you want, and then unpack them in the respective folder for if it uses one api or the other.
