That was positive, and almost got to the root of it.
Family and love can really resolve many issues, drugs can be temporary solutions that require social mending when depressed or stopped, in order to reinstate them in to our family order or social order at that.

So let me get this strait. All I here through this video is psychiatric medications treat the symptoms by stimulating, blocking, or destroying neuron transmitters in the brain (And the side affects are the same on other parts of the body that essentially make it like trying to kill a snake that's going to kill your brother by using a shotgun. So you blow your brothers leg off in the process to kill the snake - that sounds like a winning plan.). So that means these meds cannot treat the problem? Why is a person depressed or psychotic or excessive compulsive, or lacks basic coping skills? How about helping them understand that they have made some really pour life choices like hanging on to unresolved anger, regrets, jealousy, revengeful thoughts, worry, unforgiveness, bitterness, and the list goes on. Where's the pill for that? How about helping them overcome pore parenting from parents who failed to disciple their child and the school medicates them to keep them from being disruptive in class. How about teaching people how to forgive those who have wronged them or ask for forgiveness from those they have wronged. How about helping them understand their weaknesses and their strengths and how to migrate to their strengths so they can thrive. Rather than giving them a pill every morning, make them get out of bed and go for a long walk and let's just talk about love, about life and if you really want freedom from all that stuff, let's talk about Jesus and how He can do for you what you cannot do for yourself.

Roberto should be aware that doctors have never been formally trained in slow, safe tapering methods to get off these dangerous, highly addictive drugs. Switching from drug to drug is so dangerous. Education is key Roberto.

NAMI: Nearly 75 Percent of Donations from Pharma
Medically reviewed by Scientific Advisory Board - Written by John M. Grohol, Psy.D. on October 22, 2009
As we noted in April, NAMI gets a significant portion of its funding from pharmaceutical companies. We had to guess at what that percentage was, however, because the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) refused to detail their pharmaceutical grants and donations in their annual reports and IRS filings.

Thank you, Brendan Smyth. We have to keep fighting this industry of death, which is basically what it is, that has destroyed the lives of so many people in this country and around the world. We have to keep pushing the truth out there to counteract all the lies. Thanks for being a part of that.

@@Mark-bw1wx Thank you Mark. Im a survivor of PAWS (Protracted Acute Withdrawal Syndrome). It took 3 years to heal from an SNRI called Cymbalta. Heroin withdrawal would be a walk in the park compared to Cymbalta. I’m not as angry as I was but we have a very serious problem in society and it’s happening right under our noses. The most dangerous person to get you off these things is your Doctor. Do not under any circumstances go to your Doctor for advice on getting off these highly addictive drugs. Good luck Mark and keep up the good fight. 👍🏻 regards Brendan from down under 🇦🇺

@@brendansmyth5053 I just wrote you a long response and while I was editing it, got deleted. I know your post is a year old, but still. Just wanted you to know you're not alone. I was almost killed by these drugs and am a father. My son had to watch me go through all of this. He had to watch this growing up. I'll try to come back to this. Have to go out now. Don't know if you're reading this even. What they are doing to people is criminal, these pill pushers for "Pig" Pharma. Criminal and all about profit. Profit over human lives. Disgusting. Now they're even damaging the brains and bodies of young children with these drugs. Criminals. Should be in jail. People have committed suicide and homicide while suffering the brain damage from these drugs. Lost their money, their children, marriages, jobs...had to go on permanent disability. I know all about it. But they always deny they had any responsibility. ALWAYS.

I tell you therapy doesn't work for everyone. You can't save everyone. Has a high school friend who was on a cocktail of psych drugs. Now he's dead! Not his fault.

The manner in how psych meds work; I'm so much better off drinking beer. Alcohol's less damaging than psych meds r.

Alcohol actually has much of the same affect as psychiatric medication. In heavy doses, alcohol is just about as destructive. If you're dealing with issues, I would suggest you look to Jesus. He is bout life transformation to make you look more like HIm. It's not an easy life but it is the most rewarding as their are eternal consequences one way or the other. Hope you find help.

Also; coming from a family whose parents r an "only child" from their respective families whereas I have an older sibling happens 2 b the crux of my issues. Mark; COMPLETELY AGREED!!!!! BTW; demagoguery's also an appropriate term here. In proving ur point; negative effects from psych meds r constantly downplayed/denied by "professionals" & organizations like NAMI.
