- Spencer Dinwiddie did his best to prove his own quote wrong in the Mavericks / Lakers Game. Perhaps we just didn’t understand what he was trying to say. LeBron covers your shortcomings when he is on the OTHER team, not your team. Spencer certainly enjoyed taking advantage of LeBron’s laughable defense, in particular LeBron’s non-existent help defense which left the lane as an open invitation.
Speaking of open lanes, it’s hard not to criticize today’s game in general when looking at these wasted open lanes and lack of aggressive big men in the paint.
Remember, these are clips from ONE game, just the most recent game even, to show that LeBron not only doesn’t cover mistakes, but highlights them. If they are his mistakes he throws his teammates under the bus. If they are actually his teammates’ mistakes he makes sure the whole world knows about it.
Sorry, but Spencer’s quote was the exact opposite of the truth, and it only took the game Spencer was playing in to prove it.

Lebron just floats around on defense taking up floor space, and its astonishing. He actually makes it harder for his teammates to defend a player when he gets in the area, cause it's like having an extra offensive screener 😂
