With organic gardening your garden just gets better with age. Its the opposite when synthetic fertilizers and pesticides are used. Its all about a balanced ecosystem. Loving your channel!
Hi Angela . I like and love 💞 gardening since my child hood, now I have 92 types Of 🌹 only in my kitchen garden. I too share my passion in my videos to help and guide others
I’ve been feeling so overwhelmed and not knowing where to start. Someone recommended your videos and I’ve been binge watching since last night. You make this easy to understand, follow, and complete. Thank you so much!!! It’s a bonus you’re in AZ too 😁
Your videos are always so well done! The graphics are gorgeous and professional. You get right to the point. Everything is super informative. Your pictures of examples are really helpful. I wish I'd discovered your videos earlier, but I'm definitely stickin' with 'em now! :) Thank you.

Thank you for the good advice. I do all my gardening in containers as our soil is terrible. My husband made them all wicking beds witch I totally love. As the water comes from the bottom. What cover crops would you suggest
Hi, thank you for making this video. Its really useful for me as a beginner. Anyway can you tell us how to make an irrigation system in minute 5:09 or you just buy it? Thank you
I'm really sick what book would you recommend on how to make soil/compost? I wish to learn to heal myself through plants. I need a comprehensive guide with simple language.

ugh i had a big problem with tomato hornworms one year.. they came out of nowhere and in like a day or two just ate a large portion of my tomato plants T_T. i felt bad about killing them though, even if they're harmful. so i'd just throw them far away from my plants and hope they wouldn't come back lol.
Good video but I wouldn't make a blanket recommendation about watering plants in the evening or whenever they actually need watering. Nature waters plants at all times of the day and night and splashes water on their leaves with no problem. In organic gardening we are trying to mimic nature's way wherever possible. If there isn't rain for long stretches we need to water the plants deeply and less often whenever they need it.
Good point. Here in the low desert making sure plants are hydrated before the heat of the day is crucial - evaporation is higher when watering at other times of day too. We do the best we can.

Depends on what your needs are - If you want to choke out weeds buckwheat or alyssum, or to fix nitrogen something like soybeans.
We love you Angela! At least I do, love from Tucson 🥰
Ha! Thank you!
Hi, what is the best eco friendly/organic sheet when covering the soild to stop the weeds from growing?
Cardboard is a good option

My chickens love them!
Do you have a problem with birds eating your young lettuce, kale, arugula and CA poppies? That was a surprise for me!
Birds eat just about everything else in my garden, but haven't eaten my greens or poppies.
@@GrowingInTheGarden Thank you for your answer. I thought it was strange, too, but we actually saw them eating them, caught in the action!
