Chris, I'm researching the Eric the Robots (there seem to be two different ones of that name around in the 1930s, both British), and I'd like to chat more about your Eric. I'm guessing the film is from his trip to Canada, which received wide attention. He also toured the UK, though working out which Eric is which is tricky. You can contact me by putting an "at" and then full stops into timpart perdix demon co uk Thanks, Tim

"Eric" was an early attempt at creating a humanoid robot and was built by British scientist W. H. Richards in 1928. The robot was seven feet tall and weighed over 400 pounds. It was made of aluminum and had a pneumatic power system that allowed it to move and be controlled. "Eric" was exhibited at the London Society of Model Engineers in 1928 and was later displayed at the London Science Museum in 1929.
Unfortunately, "Eric" met an untimely end when it was destroyed in a fire at the London Science Museum in 1929. The cause of the fire was never determined, but it is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault. The robot was not fully operational at the time of the fire, but it was still an important milestone in the development of humanoid robots. Despite its short life, "Eric" inspired future generations of scientists and engineers to continue exploring the possibilities of robotics and artificial intelligence.

Eric is commanded to do the nazi salute. First questions they ask from Alpha is done to be sure, that he is not a pedophile, and Elektro is taught to smoke. I'm concerned about this trend that they started here.

Нет конечно. Там одна телемеханика по проводам,- за кулисами за пультом сидел челик и дёргал рычажки, ответственные за вкл/выкл приводов.
