Thank you so much! I had been trying to figure this out. Sew Art has so many pattern choices and I wanted to figure out how to make my own. This is exactly what I was looking to do. Thanks again!

Fantastic that's why I enjoy your videos when you save do you keep pattern hidden thanks keep up the great work

      Thank you :)
I keep them hidden just out of habit. Things I don't want to stitch out I will hide (or delete, but you can't delete the pattern or the pattern goes away). I don't know if it's necessary to hide them or not, it's just how my brain works.

Ok, I made several stars for my pattern within the square. It looks fine, but is there anyway I can save this pattern design for different images without having to repeat each step again?
    Thanks.

I don't think so, but you could try saving it as it's own svg. then when you need it again, open that svg, copy and paste into your current working one, or maybe even be able to import it when needed. I think that should work

@@LowTechLinux I did save as a template, but when I tried to add to a different shape, the template showed up and the other shape disappeared. I'll try your suggestion. Thanks

I don’t see this option on my screen. Do I have to install it?

You need to have inkstitch version 2.1.2 installed.
