Okay, so I am 24 weeks pregnant with our first. I was doing the natural tracking method (much like you) and got that surprise second line. I'm so excited to meet this baby and be a Mom, BUT I seem to approach and see pregnancy differently than the Moms who say, "ohhh pregnancy is beautiful and I loved it and I was so happy and full of life". I mean, pregnancy is weird. Growing a human is weird. Everything is changing both physically and mentally and I have struggled to find how to put it into words ... but you say EXACTLY what I'm thinking and I love it!! Because of your videos I don't feel so alone or like I'm a bad Mom because I'm not experiencing preganncy the same as those other Moms.

I watched this when I first found out I was pregnant and now I’m 32 weeks and you described everything perfectly!

I'm 17 weeks and one thing that I didn't anticipate or know about was that sometimes your belly can feel super lopsided. Like I woke up this morning and turned from my right side to my back and felt like my right side of my uterus was so much higher and it hurt when I pushed on it, and I woke my husband up and was like "Something's wrong, my belly feels weird. Like what if I have a fibroid or a twisted ovary or something and need surgery." And I made him feel it. Anyway, I started googling and apparently sometimes the baby is just laying in a certain spot and it makes you lopsided. Like that's the baby's head and back, or butt or something. 😂 And nothing is wrong with me. And when I got up to make coffee, I stopped being lopsided because I guess the baby moved. Lol but now it feels so much more real to me! Like there is a real baby in there who likes to lay in interesting ways and make me lopsided!

I was surprised at how hard my baby bump was. I died laughing the first time I tried sucking in my baby bump to squeeze between something, & it hit me that “ohhhh yeah… it doesn’t suck in!” 😆

Love this! Omg..Everyone has SOMETHING to say about my baby bump. When I first got pregnant my boobs started growing so I hit my nipples with doors and walls left and right. Now I have a big bump and I open the bathroom stall doors into it, regular doors, & stilllll try to squeeze through spaces that I THINK I might fit but I don’t realize how big I am. I show everyone my belly button lol it gets all stretched out, and now at 41 weeks it’s like completely level with the rest of my belly.

I know I’m kinda late to the party but I appreciate you bringing light to bumps of different shapes and that long torsos mean smaller bumps in some people. I was not skinny when I got pregnant so I wound up with a b shape bump that doesn’t even really show at 23 weeks because I’m fairly tall. I guess I’m trying to say thanks for reminding me that I’m not just gaining weight I’m growing a beautiful baby girl.

This one really related to me as i’m already in my 4th month and I am barely showing. Looks like i’m just bloated after having a heavy meal but otherwise you wouldn’t know I’m even pregnant. I usually feel insecure and not “feel pregnant” enough but I realized that everybody is different and I should be lucky that I’m even pregnant. It’s a miracle and i’m carrying a life inside me and that’s all I should care about and not anyone’s comment on how I look as a preggo. ✌🏼😊

I didn't have a lot of people ask to feel my belly but I never minded when they did. I take it as them being excited for you and I was really not too excited so I liked the positivity with that.

Week 36 here. Still trying to remember to squat and not bend at the waist to fill/empty the dishwasher. Bending at the waist usually kicks off a Braxton Hicks contraction, like my belly is afraid the baby is going to fall thru my skin, so it "must contract!!!" But. Who squats to empty the dishwasher? Lame.

Have never been pregnant but the thought of how the abdominal muscles separate (and sometimes don't find their way back) freaks me out and is a legit deterrent for me 😬

Love this!!! Being pregnant is so weird. You are completely on point with everything. Everyone having a comment and unrequested advice is so annoying! We aren’t finding out the gender so that’s another thing that people just don’t want to accept. Lol

The best analogy I can find for the feeling is like when you have a really full bladder and you're on a road trip with your siblings and they push down on your bladder and you feel the pressure of this sack full of liquid pressing on everything inside your body, it's like that but constant

I keep bumping into doorways, chairs, my husband, etc. because I forget that I am protruding more than I used too 😂 I also noticed that I am spilling way more food on my shirts lately because where before it would have missed my body or fallen onto the napkin in my lap, now my belly is in the way so it just falls right onto my shirt.

I’m at 11 weeks. I’m still at the point of my belly starting to feel full. I approach meals like yes I want to eat! Then I sit down to eat and have to sip water, to get my appetite back, knowing I want food, but can’t eat all* of it. Today we made a egg , sausage & toast dinner that I ate half of each serving then had to stop. Very happy to find this channel I can relate to. Thank you!
