I've always considered Moon Buggy to be the respectable lesser brother to Sweet in this game. Would often be playing as ST in tournament mode with a MB-cpu as my sidekick, watching him do most of the work while I would come-in only when needed. Gud times.
There is a particular and interesting glitch or technique that I always found fun and gratifying to try and pull-off in this particular game. You'll basically need the Massive cheat enabled and have the custom Detnoball as your special and from preferably a smaller vehicle with a low center of gravity(I always choose the fast sports car) but this glitch mainly works on boss-sized units like Minion. Oh and the freeze cheat may make it easier as well. But basically if you fire the massive weapon and then switch in time to the Detnoball special and fire it at the exact same moment as the power missile, if the timing is precise where there are only a few-to-no nanoseconds between the impact of both and hit the opponent he will fly vertically straight into the sky with the fastest velocity and end-up hitting a deathwall. If the timing is not ideal but they still both make an impact they will still fly up towards the sky but diagonally and at a reduced velocity where your eyes can actually notice it and may end-up failing to hit the deathwall, depending on the level.
@@Winters989 Well you'd only end-up depleting it via use of invincibility or invisibility. Otherwise you'd have the luxury of having the infinite special, freeze and massive cheat enabled. Or were you referring to the life bar?
Moon Buggy's special operates similarly to Sweet Tooth's Henchmen as they can go through walls and home in on an opponent. But the Quasars don't last as long and all have tasers. Plus they scatter right after firing while the Henchmen are close to each other.
Yeah but not even close to sweet tooth special(most op in whole series so not really surprise) even thought it's pretty good. For me top specials worth mentioning in TM4 are: 1.Sweeth Tooth(self explanatory) 2.Super Thumper(with freeze ability one special with few weapon shots can kill almost everyone with one go) 3.Meter Maid(okeish damage easy to use and self healing is pretty damn useful while damaging others) 4.Rob Zombie(one stun can deal lot damage with use of weapons) 5.Moon Buggy(nothing special low damage but low duration still pretty damn cool special) 6.All grabbing specials can deal good damage with use of weapons(not sure which one deals most damage probably one of bosses) 6.Calipso(very hard to use but perfect nuke can be devastating with good use, shield + standing next to opponent is pretty good tactic to use it, also can be used with freeze but need very good timing but crazy damage if perfectly deployed) 7.Minion(not bad at all especially bcs easy to use, free freeze while damaging and good for beginners also great vehicle, tanky and fast) Anything other is not that good but still all of them has it's uses ofc but these listed can be devastating with one use of special except Meter Maid which is amazing and number 2 in list only if used with back attack trick(unlimited specials trick 😉), without trick it's ok bcs of self healing but not that good damage without trick

Hey I had a few questions - I just got a ps1 and gameshark for Twisted Metal 4. The game runs smoothly without the codes. With the codes - it always crashes whether it never loads or when I use a weapon on rapid fire…. 1. Is that normal? Or is my ps1 not the best? 2. How do you manage to play the game so smoothly without crashes and even slowed down play? Anyone else is more than welcome to answer too.
Hi. I use the Duckstation emulator to play my PS1 games. There's always a risk of games crashing while using gameshark; TM4 is not the most stable game in that regard.
3:34 I'm a dancing moon buggy ♪
It's fun using rapid fire with Moon Buggy or Sweet Tooth and just let the specials ragdoll the enemy around.
If ever, i would like to see a remake of TM 1 to 4
Me too.
I think this is the best looking special in the game
It's pretty cool to look at.
You should do a Moon Buggy vs 5 SweetTooth’s with rapid fire.

@@akaalisbenjamin2093 Moon Buggy is ok but he’s so big he’s an easy target. His armor is pretty shit for a boss but his special is good at least.

That's a neat strategy. It's definitely risky since you will deplete your vehicle's energy bar.

Proximity mines + rapid fire and turbo controller = lots of fun
