      My channel is so small, I gotta do work to get it out to the WGC. I was top 4 online ranked day 1 using a CAW that had half the stats this one does. This tutorial will be the bane of my existence online in 6 months. But someone was bound to make it, figured I might as well share my secrets.

    Great video!!! Do you have any tips on how to win the Battle Royale in the beginning of the story mode?

    • @Mr_Dubbs
      @Mr_Dubbs  Год назад +1

      Never go into your special, have a signature you can spam, like a grounded move, or Kenny Omega's snap dragon that pops them back on their feet. Spam Sigs until they are in the blue, then chuck them out. Spin kick (roundhouse or whatever) is a good setup strike for the snap dragon as it will turn them dazed with their back to you, so you can then spam the snap dragons. They won't attack you while you're down, the AI is dumb, doesn't matter the difficulty. Don't eliminate too many people at the same time, or you'll be stuck against a bunch of guys all 1 taunt or move away from Signatures. Pretty easy, I had to intentionally lose 1 once, just so I had a different path to take. It's super easy to win with a CAW.

    I did the best I could. 14 action skills. 25 passives Only 61 stat skills. I went undefeated on elite. Made sure I won every mini game and did intense workouts when I could and got photos. So I managed to copy all your stats except for unlocking more signature slots. I only have 1 sig slot with the 5 finishing slots. Not sure if I should of mixed and matched the two or not. Either way, not sure what I did wrong!

      Did you play as a male CAW or female?

    • @NYC_Goody
      @NYC_Goody Год назад

      @@Mr_Dubbs I did a male. I did hear a part in your video where you mentioned women can also win the TBS title. But would one extra title really give me enough to not only buy every sig slot, but to also upgrade all of them as well? There were moments where I was asking myself if I was being 100% efficient with the min maxing. Like for instance, I believe I only missed maybe 1 or 2 total mini games when I was having to eat after intense workouts and choosing to compete on rampage/go to an explanation point for the extra points. But all of the ones I did compete in, like I said, I won them all which took hours worth of dashboarding lol. And then one last thing, when you mention the last 2 months make sure to buy the point boost perk, you were talking just the week 4's right? Or did you mean every single week heading into your rampage/dynamite matches? Because I started doing that every week, but only thought to do that I'd say a few weeks in.

    • @Mr_Dubbs
      @Mr_Dubbs  Год назад

      @@NYC_Goody So from my experience, my women's path was easier and I got far more points from it. The very first night I believe you get two matches. I also only ever got tired from flying once. I made sure to get 10 of the snapshots, mini games, workouts and dining as those all give extra points. I got lucky on a bunch of my workouts running into someone for extra points, usually my rampage opponents. I bought the stats booster for every PPV and rampage beforehand for extra points. And on the last month I bought the booster every week. The booster makes a huge difference in points. As well as always making sure I had excellent meter. The average of 4 star matches I believe is also a bonus 5000 pts. Which is why the excellent spirit meter all the time is important. Along with giving workouts over 1000 pts, it starts your matches in Orange spirit. So you can win your matches in under 2 minutes. (Making 4+ stars easier).

    • @NYC_Goody
      @NYC_Goody Год назад

      @@Mr_Dubbs okay, so buy the boost every week during the last month. But until then, stick to just the ppv week. Now last thing because I'm not trying to over ask and annoy the hell out of you, but like in your reply and even in the video, you mention at least doing 10 of these different activities to get the bonus at the end of RTE, so I'd imagine you didn't stop doing the mini games or workouts after the 10 since that's just points being left on the table. So is there anything you prioritized after you knew you hit the 10? That'd probably be really helpful info for me just to make sure I'm min maxing properly. Because last night's playthrough I tried doing mini games and intense workouts every week. It became a tougher juggle once rampage got introduced. And a side note, that average 4 stars was unobtainable with my flair CAW! Lol I had my sig power on a 4 and eventually maxed and I'd do like 3 sigs back to back and they'd be in danger states everytime. But these fools always kicked out haha. I avoided doing his figure four because I copied Dax hardwoods moveset and he's only got like 2 moves that work on the legs. So maybe finishers just inherently do more damage than sigs, I have no idea. I'll try a female in a bit with a non submission finisher and see if that helps

    • @Mr_Dubbs
      @Mr_Dubbs  Год назад

      @@NYC_Goody I would do one minigame, one workout and rampage every week. The rest was just getting everything else to 10x and try and make sure I got a cut scenes for free points while doing it all.

      Malakai Black's roundhouse kick, as well as his leg sweep are really strong. As is Snap Dragon suplex, when in signature, you can just spam it as much as possible. (Make sure you're picking the snap dragon suplex that stands them up, dazed again, ready to be hit with another one). Never go into special until you're ready to win the match. If you lose Signature from spamming snap dragon too much and not using your finish, you'll be one leg sweep, or roundhouse away from being back in Signature. Rinse, and repeat.
      In the 2 v 1, or 3 v 1 matches, this is especially important. As you'll have to spam snap dragons to win. Once you've hit enough of them, they'll be dizzy on their feet, and you'll be free to win your match. For a standing Special/Finisher, I recommend something like a Queenslayer (standing into a rear naked choke). Something that is unlikely to result in a rope break, and will also win the match quickly. Important for the handicap matches, or tag matches, as when you stun the non legal man (with the snap dragons), they won't stay stunned forever, so you have to be able to finish the match quickly.
      The rest of your moveset is completely up to you. Just use whatever is fun. I personally also pick a ladder as my favourite weapon. (fav weapon just means it will always be the first weapon you pull out, unless you're a champion, then it's the second weapon you pull out, after your title belt). Fill my moveset with lot's of moves that land them on their face or head, and then pull out the ladder and leave it on the mat for just about any match (don't hit the opponent with the ladder or you'll get DQ'd, just pull it out and drop it on the mat, doing moves onto it does not DQ you). Piledrive, suplex, DDT, etc... my opponent on the ladder, as the impact always looks and sounds awesome. Enjoy.

    What I'm curious to know is how time consuming it was going thru RTE and what personality you selected. There's certain PPV conditions I want to avoid

    • @Mr_Dubbs
      @Mr_Dubbs  Год назад

      This specific run was Hero personality, with a female CAW, which allows you to win the TBS title, skips the Battle Royal and jumps you right into a 4-way for the womens title. So you'll get bonus from all those things, vs running this as a male CAW.

    • @Mr_Dubbs
      @Mr_Dubbs  Год назад

      Time wise, you can do it in a day. A few hours if you're skipping cut scenes, cheesing the matches to win them within a minute or two. Getting lucky with mini games as well as hard workouts and not having to reset constantly.

      @@Mr_Dubbs that's more or less what I'm hoping to pull off. I wish I'd learned of your "cookie cutter" method early as I have 3 CAWS, almost all identical aside from specific moves, and builds. If I can make one God tiered CAW and just cut n paste then alter, this will make things easier for me.

    Got any tips for getting the 4 star matches in RTE?

    • @Mr_Dubbs
      @Mr_Dubbs  Год назад +2

      Yes, I literally spammed my strikes over and over (I had the roundhouse, or spin kick that turned them to their back but kept them standing) until I'd start knocking them down with it, then some spring boards, followed back by strikes until I get my signature, spam that a couple times, then tapped them out with the Queenslayer (which was my finish). Literally the faster you can end the match without taking damage, the higher stars you get. My matches that lasted less than one minute (always make sure your spirit is excellent in RTE, for more pts on workouts, as well as starting matches near your Signature). I'd get usually 4.5 stars. My goal was always to end matches as fast as possible. The longer the matches I had, the worse the ratings for some reason.

    So you have to complete road to elite to have CAW stats transfer over to online?

    • @Mr_Dubbs
      @Mr_Dubbs  Год назад +1

      Yes sir. CAWs have 0 stats or abilities if you haven't taken them through road to elite. So if you've run into a CAW online that seems overpowered, it's because they've grinded through Road to Elite.

  • @lianaverwood9810
    @lianaverwood9810 6 месяцев назад

    Doing this for 100 caws is just ridiculous then you cant even run the same caw again to alter your stats.
    This is part of why people don't want to play now.

    • @Mr_Dubbs
      @Mr_Dubbs  6 месяцев назад

      You only ever have to do it once, and then just copy paste that first CAW however many times you need. You can copy/clone a CAW onto another slot as many times as you want.

    • @lianaverwood9810
      @lianaverwood9810 6 месяцев назад

      @@Mr_Dubbs understand that and already do it but, then you basically have all your caws with the same stats and abilities instead of control other what your caw has and shouldn't have you lose that control in creation and having a diverse roster of caws when you copy and paste.
      Sadly they aren't smart enough to realize this flaw in game and creation design and want to force you into their rte mode over and over.

    • @Mr_Dubbs
      @Mr_Dubbs  6 месяцев назад

      If this is your biggest flaw with the creation suite, then you must have super low standards. I agree it sucks, for sure, 100%. But the entire creation suite itself feels like it was released completely unfinished. As if funding from the game was just halted and they insisted on releasing the game, unfinished for the sake of recouping some money, potentially for future development.
      Like they have Kota Ibushi and Kenny Omega's hair, along with a bunch of Omega attire parts in there, but then it's like, they just stopped working on it. Like they were going to include everyone's hair, faces, facial hair, attire parts, etc... in it, but then funding just stopped. That's how I look at it anyways.

    • @lianaverwood9810
      @lianaverwood9810 6 месяцев назад

      @@Mr_Dubbs your video is about building up stats in rte mode so I was talking about the flaws in their design there not the caw creation suite.
      I would love if they just let us have free reign and build our own caws statwise but, clearly they wanted us to grind each one..surprised they let us duplicate at all with the way they built this.

    • @Mr_Dubbs
      @Mr_Dubbs  6 месяцев назад +1

      Fair point and you are right, I'm a little confused on being able to clone CAWs as well (given the strict parameters they set on building a CAW). None of this game made sense though. Like while on the topic of RTE, why are there match types to this day, locked behind it that you can't play outside of the mode? Gauntlet matches, tornado tag matches, multi person ladder matches, handicap matches, etc...?
