This is by far the best explanation of the reflection I've heard coming from the globe earth model. The idea that the moon both reflects and is a rock is dumb, unless the moon is a Dimond.
If the moon is actually just a reflection of the earth on the firmament, then why doesn't this reflection look anything like the earth's surface actually does? Just wondering too, what specific form of mental illness do you suffer from?
It is He Who made the sun a shining thing and the moon as a light and measured out for it stages that you might know the number of years and the reckoning - Yunus verse 5, Quran (Before DaVinci)

They love to tell you the truth sometimes like “the earth’s atmosphere extends to the moon” That would work perfect on a flat, motionless plane with a dome above us but you’d need major faith to believe the atmosphere would extend to some giant rock 270,000 miles away as it rotates around another giant rock, both of which are supposedly in a vacuum. You might like to explain then, what does cause the moon's nearside to be slightly illuminated when it's in a new moon or crescent phase? I find it interesting too, that you have the arrogance to think you have more knowledge about whether 'earth shine' can actually occur, than the experts in their field of science?

Did any astronomy buff publish a close-up of the moon yesterday, 4/8/24 during the eclipse and capture it's earthshine? I've done this at full moon and can see it very clearly. Tom TGP
Not a flat earther or mooner, but when I see a full moon it appears flat. Why isn't center brighter but gradually dims toward edge? More light would be reflected away, away from surface center of moon thus less light should come to our eyes and should appear darker.
The moon was pretty bright to me during yesterday's eclipse. Thats how I stumbled upon this video because I was starting to wonder if I had somehow made up the explanation that it was the earth reflecting back on it. I still find it a little odd that no pictures shows it at all so far but considering that it is very hard to capture it in the first place, I kind of understand it.
Why have you mentioned anything about 'millions of light years away'? The time it takes for light from the moon to reach earth (and visa versa) is around 1.5 seconds.

I would go as far as to say that the moon has its own light source!
Nope

Why isn’t the moon lit with earth shine during a “solar eclipse” and rather look more like a black void?
