  • Stay tuned this week for more in-box reviews!
    Another in-box review this week, this one of Dragon's PzKpfw Ausf B. This kit looks incredibly detailed and should be a big beast of a build! I shall also be building this kit as part on my multi-vehicle diorama for Russ Gosselin's D-Day GB here on RUclips.

    Now that's a whole lot of styrene. Never built any of Dragon's smart kits before. I really like all the detail that the kit provides. Have fun building.

      Thanks Russ! You gotta try a smart kit; the level of detail is superb!

    Good review. That looks like a really detailed kit and also very nicely moulded. Have fun with building this.

      Thanks Stefan! Hopefully I will have fun building this but I may end up in the crazy house with all that PE.....

    I really like this kit, Ive never seen a panzer with a snow plow.

      @Panzermeister36  10 лет назад

      I like it too, it looks incredibly detailed! Unfortunately I won't be using the snowplow on the tank though it looks quite cool. However it simply attaches onto the front spare track holder so it could be fitted to any other Panzer IV (and many vehicles based off of it) and some Panzer IIIs (ausfs H-N) so I'll save it for a future project :)

    I think you're right. "mit schneeräumer system schmidt" means "with snow plow system" in German. Good review. I hope you will build that soon. :)

      Thanks Q, I'll be building it for the D-Day Group Build along with the '222 and another Dragon Panzer IV Smart Kit so tuned in to see if I'm still alive after all this PE and magic tracks lol

    Great review of the kit I saw it first come out on the Dragon website and I'm glad to see someone review it. More importantly I now know it isn't just me when it comes to opening boxes. Great Job!

      Thanks for watching man: that box wouldn't come off :D...then I couldn't put it back on due to the number of bags..lol

    FYI, the photo etch sprue shown at 4:00 is the same sprue in the old Ausf.C kit 6291. MA-6297. I've been looking for some extra parts for my old kit and they are difficult to find. Well, here it is.

    That was a really good review PM!
    Lots and lots of potential there.
    That will be a bit fiddly to build, I've built the Ausf C. Amazing kits.
    Lots of plastic PE as Freddy Duarte calls it. haha.
    Still, it will build up into a stunner of a kit.

    • @Panzermeister36
      @Panzermeister36  10 лет назад

      Yeah, it'll be the smartest smart kit I've tackled. It will be a battle but I'll come out on top! :)

    Another good inbox review mate. Nice looking kit indeed..plenty of pesky little bits. FYI only..intro slide shows 222

      Thanks Mark. You just love Dragon kits don't you, with all the lovely PE? ;) heh heh This one looks to be the "Smartest" Smart Kit I've yet build excluding the unfinished Ferdinand. yay.....
      And thanks for pointing that out I'll fix it :)

      Thanks Hendrik! I was wondering what "schmidt" meant at the end...

    • @HollywoodModelling
      @HollywoodModelling 10 лет назад

      Panzermeister36 Name of the guy who came up with the thing? My best guess.. but Schmidt is like the most or second most common last name in Germany..:D

    • @Panzermeister36
      @Panzermeister36  10 лет назад

      Hollywood Modelling Ah okay because I thought it was like an adjective meaning like "efficient" or "fast" or something lol

    • @HollywoodModelling
      @HollywoodModelling 10 лет назад

      Nope.... efficient = effizient and fast = schnell.. :D Schmidt just is the guy...

    One heck of a kit you have there. That should come out really nice! Or you will go blind putting all those small parts together lol.

      @Panzermeister36  10 лет назад

      Thanks Devon, one of the other yeah but these Dragon kits are fun to build; they keep me occupied for months at a time lol!

  • @toddw14
    @toddw14 10 лет назад

    That is a very challenging kit to finish. I've built the Ausf. A which is almost exactly the same and it was not easy.

    • @Panzermeister36
      @Panzermeister36  10 лет назад

      Yeah it looks very complex and has a ton of pieces and PE :)

    • @toddw14
      @toddw14 10 лет назад +1

      The tool clamps are the hardest part to assemble. I'd recommend getting an Eduard PE set for it since they're 1 piece and you just fold them over.

    • @Panzermeister36
      @Panzermeister36  10 лет назад

      ***** Yeah I built a StuG and the tool clamps were 3 PE pieces each :(

    • @toddw14
      @toddw14 10 лет назад +1

      Eduard sells the PE tool clamps by themselves for about $5 I"d recommend those. They're 1 piece and much easier and faster to assemble.

    • @Panzermeister36
      @Panzermeister36  10 лет назад

      Thanks Gary! Here Dragon's priced about the same as Tamiya so I'm always buying these million-part smart kits lol. More Dragon Panzer IV reviews coming!

      Your welcome and keep the reviews coming, I just recently got a panzer IV taurchpanzer for a decent price dunno if you have it but it's a awesome kit. It comes with a trailer with fuel drums on it, awesome detail.

    What a kit...its almost mind boggling what can be done with styrene these days. I can help you with that pronounciation; its "Shnay - roymer" . Another good review bud keep them coming.

    • @Panzermeister36
      @Panzermeister36  10 лет назад

      Yeah its crazy detailing, never seen so much styrene and PE! And yeah my German's pretty bad but it makes Hendrik laugh :D I've got more coming too!

    Hi Evan, I know it's been years since you posted this but I'm considering picking this kit up. It's one of those kits you grab when you see it, though all that PE scares me a little. How did it build up?

  • @MrCzajnik200

    Hi, Can anyone remember how many cells should be on one track?

    • @Panzermeister36
      @Panzermeister36  9 лет назад

      MrCzajnik200 You mean how many individual links per side? Officially it's 99 per side, but often its not perfect so it should be between 98 and 100

    • @MrCzajnik200
      @MrCzajnik200 9 лет назад +1

      Ok , thank's for info . That's my first model with magic track so I'm a bit scared of this tracks
