I seen these they look good, but the gear sets look to include a plastic gear in some of the ads on ebay. I don't want a plastic gear servo because I race and plastic heats up and will fail. Have you looked at the gears?
All metal gears in this servo. It's been great for me. Going to order a couple more. Aliexpress has all the 9imod servos on sale. Kind of nice that the gears and o rings are availible.
@@jamesbrouse9257 I just switched the 9imod 45kg coreless from my trggy to my buggy. It isn't 45kg no way, about the same as a jx 7132 o have 3 of. That are fast and ok but my savox 1271 has broke 3 plastic cases but is still working just has to replace them sever times they pop apart at top plastic threads for the long screws. Anyway, trying the 45kg in my buggy, put my powerhobby 729 in my truggy which will be perfect but was way overpowered for my E-buggy. I have ordered the brushless 45kg 9Imod from ebay for 46 dollars. It will be 2 weeks before its here, 😔 but... I think it has the power I need for my Serpent E-buggy, if the 45kg coreless 9Imod isn't enough. We shall find out! In truggy the steering pushed hard in tight corner. No other issues. No stripped gears, probably tougher than the jx black case servos as far as gear material or better bearings, or desgn. Out of 3 JX7132's I brought 1 still works, no replaced gears or anything the other 2... Well I sold 1 in an ebuggy that worked fine after fixing the gears 2 times. The other needs the brushless servo motor shaft pinion gear. I has wore down so much it won't turn the larger gear anymore. That gear used available that I can find let me nnow if you do.
@RC OFFROAD RACING I've been running two of these 9imod direct power, brushless servos in crawlers and I'm not easy on them. No problems at all. My jx direct power 46kg is strong as well but developed a glitch where it goes back and forth. Tried it in several cars and it's the same. If you think of it lmk how you like brushless one in your buggies.
I'll have to check that one out too. With just a couple runs on this one my option is it's far better (faster stronger) than the JX 46kg coreless which is a similar price.
Loving mine.. Used this till now.. Almost a year.. 45kg HV Coreless... Never upset me... Great price too...
@@BlackUnitAdventureSport Does it still work now?
@@paolo8768 Yes till now...
I use them on all of my rock crawlers. I love them
