D'banj I'm glad to say has got this 95% right. Straight forward lyrical message, sharp colourful vibrant well framed shots, and by using the JK Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture in Lagos and the African Renaissance Monument in Dakar, adds a touch of cultural depth to the video. The 5% D'banj got wrong was that he didn't include better known contemporary dancers from Senegal and Nigeria. Imagine Poco Lee giving a few legwork moves and Yossour's Mbalax dancers doing the same. It would have widened the videos appeal to those not familiar with D'banj and his current offerings I wish D'banj all the best and if he continues along this trajectory he will ascend with certainty.
