Smith stones are ok for getting a working edge on an extremely dull knife. I use DMT diamond stones of various grits. DMT is the tits for putting a stellar edge on a blade. And they sell a sharpening system. Great review..looks like I'm ordering the SIWI and a mini Tech Lock, a much better fit to the sheath for a EDC back up blade for my folders. 👍🔪 🗡️ BTW, checkout the Kizer Sequoia. A fixed blade geard towards the same users. It's a classier more elegant knife with better slicing capability. The ergo's are one of the best I've ever handled. It feels like it molds to your hand. G10 contoured scales, 1095 steel and comes with a good Kydex sheath. If you get a chance to review one that would be pretty awesome.👍
