In case anyone is wondering still: They are raising their hand to show who sings. These dance practices are not only for the fans, but are also send to various music programs like Music Bank, Inkigayo etc. So that these programs know on which member they have to focus at what time. Since sometimes there are a lot of members in a group and it's not always the one in the middle singing. If you see dance practices without idols raising their hands, they most probably filmed two. One for the programs and one for the fans ^^ I hope I explained it well enough~~
Not sure who the choreographer is, but everything fits perfect. From the feel of the song, to the way the girl singing has her movements limited so she can sing properly. Pretty amazing altogether. I have to admit that it's hard not to keep watching Eunji though. Haha!

This thing isn't present with their latest dances though. I guess this will remain --- a mystery. My other speculation is that this is an "alertness check" to see if they're just too focused on dancing and not singing the obvious solo parts. But then again, it's hard to tell. She and Bomi have such fun personalities and that only makes them even more beautiful. Annnd their singing skill have improved too and fans (and management) are starting to take notice now.

My eyes were focused only on Maknae Hayoung, seeing her dance in heels to this song just didn't look right, yet it looked hella sexy at the end with the pose!
i think its because during live performances cameramen often film the wrong person when someone else is singing so this makes it easier for them to film the right people
