  • We are proud to introduce the MT-100 amplifier. The result of many years of R&D and road-testing, the MT 100 is a professional amp for serious musicians.
    Built on a robust chassis, the MT 100 features custom transformers and three independent channels with identical controls but truly unique voices.
    Each of the MT 100’s three channels is built from its own unique circuit with dedicated preamp tubes to ensure the voicing of each channel is exactly as intended. The Clean channel (like the MT 15) stays pristine and chimey - try it with split or single coils to hear it sing. The Gain channel (also like the MT 15) gets lush heavy tones with massive bass response that is never muddy. And, the added Overdrive channel (modeled after one of Tremonti’s favorite personal amps) brings an incredibly flexible gain structure and musical midrange response to this already versatile amp platform. Select your channel on the amp face or via the included footswitch - both feature matching channel lights so you’ll never lose your place. All three channels share the same preamp tube type (12AX7’s) for ease of servicing.

      😅This amp can definitely get loud, but I didn’t have it excruciatingly loud during the demo (except at the very end). The volume for most of this demo would have been perfectly acceptable at most any small venue gig. Unless there’s a really grumpy sound guy running sound, and then there is no acceptable volume. 😄👍 Thanks for watching and I appreciate your encouragement! 🙏

  • @sipnscoot3049
    @sipnscoot3049 9 месяцев назад +9

    See. Your has no hum! Some of the other reviewers complained about the hum on all 3 channels. It’s not the amp!!!! For Christ sake!!! It’s the old wiring in there output receptacle. And or the circuit is also running there lights too. Separate all wires. Do not tie ground and neutrals together. In the wall or the service panel. First rule of thumb. Specially if you doing stuff like this for a living. A studio should be him resistance!! All recording studios I’ve been in has done this. And if they didn’t? I showed them how. Clean power clean amp!!!!

    • @nashdude2
      @nashdude2 9 месяцев назад +1

      Haha, I'm a stickler for clean power! I also really appreciate this comment more than you can possibly know! I've been running live sound for years and it's remarkable how many people will complain about noise after plugging 100 things into a cheap power strip. I'll typically run the amp, lights, and cameras into their power conditioners for these demos and use different outlets. Nobody wants to hear extraneous noise. Especially me as i'm sitting and editings these for hours on end.

    • @nashdude2
      @nashdude2 9 месяцев назад +1

      Also, I didn't really think it was that noisy overall. It hissed a bit when we cranked the lead channel. But, that also can be said of virtually every high-gain amp in existence. I think most people would be pretty surprised by how noisy their favorite metal records would be if a noise gate wasn't part of the equation. I didn't use one on this because I feel like that's cheating. My mixes are pretty faithful to what you'd hear in the room. My goal is always to try and recreate the in store experience for customers who can't make it to a physical location.

    • @nashdude2
      @nashdude2 9 месяцев назад +2

      Haha, we sort of deliberately targeted tones outside the intended usage of this amp on purpose. Everyone knows it can bring the heat when it comes to high gain. However, we wanted to show how it handled a range of guitars and more laid-back styles. There are a lot of folks out there who want to use this as a comprehensive gigging platform and kick their pedalboard to the curb. I can say this with 100% honesty. This amp has you covered from Djent to R&B. Pretty impressive for the price point no matter how you look at it.

  • @BazonBlades
    @BazonBlades 9 месяцев назад +2

    I'm not sure about this amp. The always-on f/x loop is a curious choice. If you are using pedals, you won't be able to pre-set your effects, then kick the loop on. That is going to make for some serious tap dancing real time for effects. Especially if there is a simultaneous channel change. And no midi capability means you can't tie any switching together. Very curious for a touring amp. It's almost like it was specifically designed for old school recording where you are limited to micing a cab. Because there is no type of direct out to run to an interface. Many curious choices for this "modern" high gain channel switching amplifier.

    • @nashdude2
      @nashdude2 9 месяцев назад +2

      I see both sides of it. Those features would be great. But it would drive up the cost, and Mark insisted that the amp stay under 2000 to make it affordable for the average consumer. Also, the effects loop sounded great. We tried many things through the loop to see if it affected fidelity and were pleased with the results. I bet anything there will end up being a couple of iterations of this amp. So those features might appear in the future.
