Often times AI will just search for and find already available media to play or show, like in the ai art apps where it steals art, the noise generator probably searches the web for the desired noise
Brushes = AI won as yours is a bit grating (only because I don't like mic brushing). Tapping = You won as the AI sounded like a bird pecking. Orbeez = You won because yours was relaxing and squishy and the AI was pathetic. Crinkling = You won because yours was very tingly and the AI was popping. Juggling Balls = AI won because the sound was just like waves at the beach - but could it generate the same sound using juggling balls? I think yours sounded like walking on Autumn leaves, which was so relaxing. Conclusion: AI 2, Dido 3. Don't be worried Duncan - you are still the best.

@@melon5111 as someone who has done digital art for years, i hope it doesn't. the difference is that one of them takes effort and the other doesn't. you have to meticulously make every stroke of the brush in digital art, but with ai, you just type a prompt and it does it for you. there's no effort, there's no creativity, there's not even a good final product (imo). i genuinely think a lot of AI enthusiasts just do it to feel different and special, not realizing (or some probably realizing) how it hurts real artists.
