Switch version added a new costume, if you played or seen walkthroughs of dragon quest 9 you might recognize the reference it's called the dragon rider armour. But the cosmetic name is different, it's called hotto stuff.
Ok so get this! I got the recipe for the drasilian outfit and I made, but there's a little thing that stuck out to me about it. Apparently in dragon quest 11 S the armour is a different colour and man it doesn't look as good as the original. It's now turquoise armour with a purple cape

If you got it and then sold, DON'T WORRY, the game count the costume. To track all costume completition of a particular character press Y/Triangle > System > accolade achievements > items. Alright just a question if I may, coz it's driving me crazy :D So; I got the Gallipolis garb (whatchamacallit) by winning silver cup in Gallipolis, but when I equip it or choose it as my costume (Switch version) my weapon disappears on my character outside of combat, just as it did/does with the ''hooded costume''. Is the weapon supposed to disappear like that when we wear certain armor sets/costumes? I love the Gallipolis armor but it's kind of a bummer that weapons that my character equipped/seathed disappear when he dons the armor :( Asking coz I'm going nuts if it's a bug in my game or if it's the same for everybody playing the game (everybody except modded steam version, perhaps). You mean how you go dundrasil ruin right this port you go from outside sea gate then when go inside little sea gate just go west little bit then go north little and then go end to east there you see port to go dundrasil hope this helped you-SD

You're probably playing the S version of the game then. It changes the colors on a lot of outfits. However, once you get really far into the game, you'll find a set of armor that will have the same colors this armor does. You'll get it from saving the tormented Knight (not the first time, but the second time) in Dundrasil.
oXoZeldaoXo never got it. I stopped trying. I've beaten basically everything in the game so I don't see a point of making a big deal about it. I just beat the story and put it away
You probably have trodain bandana instead of artisanal trodain bandana. I had the same problem as the outfit changed but no achievement was applied. Forge artisanal trodain bandana and it works :)
I belive the recolor is only to make it look different that the Irwin set wich you get much later since you can wear costumes without having the actual item equipped in the switch version. The Irwin set is still silver iirc
So I encountered a glitch mid game where I can't take off the Mardi garb, despite unequipping it and trying on other outfits. This prevents me from running and I was wondering if there was a part in the game where it auto changes my clothes so it would force me out of it. Please I wish to run again, my character is tired of waving his hand. (I own the switch port) EDIT: Never mind, I just went in the equipment menu and changed it back, I can run again! Yay!

A prequel to the prequel. So the Luminary is actually the first Erdrick, and Erwin is his predecessor, from hundreds of years even before him.

you can farm serpent souls in the dunrasil ruins. the 2 dragon. much faster

In Act 2, you have to visit Hotto and go to the armor shop. This video is before the Switch version came out.
