SORC Fort Lauderdale to Key West Race 2024

The beginning of the annual SORC Fort Lauderdale to Key West Race.

The last time I did this race was in 2007 on the J/105 Dreadnought with Midshipmen from the US Naval Academ.
Maybe I can get a ride next year?
I'm retiring from Navy next week, so my sched is open.

Back in the 90s are used to be 100 boats going to Key West. Many smaller boats privately owned OK.

I wish you would slow down the camera movement a little bit. I like looking at boats.
