First stop Melaka! On the way we make a brief visit to Abu Dhabi as part of Etihads stop-over offer.

Malaysia - apart from the humidity, we love it! Both East & West Malaysia. The friendliest people and tastiest food! SHOCKINGLY GREAT bureaucracy, after our horrendous experiences in Portugal. Wonderful healthcare, also.
We love being back. In 2019 we spent more than 3 months all over Malaysia but have not yet been in Melaka for this long. Malaysia is one of those countries where everything feels 'easy'.

Sincerely just wanna ask how and what makes you really want to visit Malaysia? Is it accidental? Or thru words of mouth? I'm curious because it's just a small country unlike Indonesia. What's so special that makes you searching for it
@@zaidarazak2838 from us - we have visited Malaysia since 1995. Penang, KL, Melaka, Langkawi, Sarawak. We have always enjoyed the hospitality of the people, excellent food, beaches, jungles, nature, culture and safety. We are happy most people speak English. We are learning some Malay and I can ask for some dishes in Malay. We feel it is a tropical home - we are retired, pay for our own medical costs and will never cost the Malaysian people. We have our pension.

Just a suggestion: you may order normal toast bread with kaya, half boiled eggs and kopi (coffee)/ teh tarik for breakfast (not too heavy) in Kopitiam/Cafe.
When you are in Melaka: try cendul, hainanese chicken rice ball ....

Thanks for reminding me the great Abu Dhabi mosque. It was amazing. I took the same offer from Etihad, stopped over at Abu Dhabi when i enroute to Switzerland from KL. Any plan to come over Sabah the Malaysian Borneo if you like nature. Enjoy your time in South East Asia.

We fell in love with Char Keoy Teow when we stayed in Penang 5 years ago. Found a good one at the night market in Melaka this weekend!

It's on the list. 😋We have to replace the oil pan before then next inspection - which is due in March. There's a lot on the list..
The green sauce is peppermint sauce.
I suggest that you ask for thier signature dish and you try it.. mostly Malaysian can speak english except restoran staff who mostly are forigner

Fun fact touch and go is malaysia made.. that app e wallet and touch and go are malaysia.. if you see malaysia people have identification card behind the card u will see small touch and go.. our id card can put amount inside u can make tol if u go outside malaysia..

C'est un quartier de Malaca que je ne connais pas. Il n'existait sans doute pas à l'époque ou pas comme ça. Il faut dire que c'était il y a plus de 30 ans. Par contre j'ai souvenir d'un fantastique canard laqué dans le quartier Baba-Nyonya. J'attends la suite avec impatience.

Do visit the oldest functioning church of st peter in Melaka, built in 1710 and is over 300 years old. It's the oldest church in malaysia Singapore and thailand
