- In October 1976 my band Inner Light recorded a video demo for Washington Talent Agency. I purchased the 1-inch open reel videotape and recently had it restored. Also included on the tape was another agency band, Sixpence.

Thank you! It makes me happy too when I hear how this song has lifted peoples' spirits all across the globe (90 countries). Sixpence was a top agency band - Steve Niederman was the bass player. I played piano with Inner Light, which also recorded videos the same day.

Excelente....en Mexico habia un presentador de television que decia: "siempre es mejor la musica viva!"...por supuesto que no hay nada como escuchar a los musicos tocar en vivo....felicidades!

Greetings to you in Brazil! I hope to travel there some day and see your beautiful country.
Both Sixpence and Inner Light worked for Washington Talent Agency during the 1970s-80s. I played piano with Inner Light, which also recorded videos the same day. We played the high society gigs - weddings, bar mitzvahs, country club dances, and my band played Jimmy Carter's Election Night at the Statler-Hilton in DC a month after this video shoot.
I don't know what happened to the Sixpence. Both bands worked constantly and never saw one another except at agency functions like this. I made more money with Inner Light from 1973-77 (adjusted for inflation) than I've ever made since. But it put a strain on my family, so I left the band in April 1977 to spend more time with my 5 & 7 year-old children. Sometimes there's such a thing as too much of a good thing, Then in 1988 I got back into bands and am still playing at 75.
