Have watched many a view to understand how coding is done is wix.
You have explained the coding part the best even though coding was not the kain priority in this video.
So I'm still new to coding and so far it's mostly trial and error but when I finally succeed, I'm on cloud nine.
I dont imagine you have all the names and syntax memorized, so like me, you look up some things (I look up almost all), and simply type it in.
I have a question, I always have written code below the onReady function and the semi-colon and bracket.
I feel like that is wrong. It should go between onReady and the semicolon, right?
I know jack about using velo and packages, and js coding, but I need to learn this to build a custom site on wix for my business. The cookie cutter isn't getting it done.

How do you deal with things outside the guidelines? I see you are putting stuff outside of the tablet guidelines. Anything I put outside of those lines just gets cut off for my wife’s computer: is there a way to do media queries? I’ve read the lines signify 960px
whats the best engine to make a really big map world? not exacly a game, just a place to walk. an actual world, just for explore
I would say use Unreal Engine with streaming maps
In terms of sheer map size, Cryengine can handle the biggest individual levels (not talking bout streaming here). If you just wanna build a pretty walking sim with vegetation and landscapes and good lighting, Cryengine is probably the best tool for it out of the box.

CryEngine's been free for a whiiile now. And you get a lot of free realistic AAA quality trees, rocks, grass, etc. in the starer kit you can use in your project. Aditionaly, Lumberyard is a good alternative because its basically Amazon's version of CryEngine BUT there is one big aspect, you can get a SpeedTree licence for free with Lumberyard, which will allow you to make high quality vegetation quickly. SpeedTree is not free for Unity and Unreal, but Amazon made it free for anyone using their engine. Lumberyard is of course, also free to use engine.

Just one question you may help me with.
I noticed that, when I connect to my website as a user, the message isn't updated once connected, I need to force the refresh to get the proper message "Vous êtes bien connecté, et vous pouvez accéder à l'espace réservé aux aux adhérents.". On the other hand, when I disconnect, the message is updated as it should be, and reads "Pour accéder à l'espace réservé aux adhérents, réservé aux personnels des adhérents de l'association, une connexion est requise. Ceci nécessite une inscription et sa validation. Pour vous inscrire, veuillez cliquer dans le bouton < Connexion à l'Espace ''Adhérents'' >.".
Your video indicates that you refresh manually the page after connecting. Is there a way to force the refresh of the page after connecting, as visitors are not suppoed to know that they need to refresh the page after connecting?

I have a few questions I hope you might reply to.
I have created my WIX SITE -- however it is not finished because of some issues I have
(1) For my already created databases ( I have several different databases on my site ) Can I create a SEARCH FORM just like I have a DATA FORM or does WIX only allow me to make a SEARCH BAR ?
(2) When data is entered into the database can it immediately be searched ?
(3) My biggest question -- I have 5 DATABASES for my site. Different information saved into a different database 3 of the 5 DATABASES ENTRIES COST A FEE.
***HOW*** can I make the following FUNCTION ---- A person enters data into the database -- Before the data goes into the database they press NEXT button
When they press the NEXT button , by a link, they are directed to the payment page. When they fill out the payment and press SUBMIT the payment goes into
processing ONCE the payment is ACCEPTED THEN I WANT THE DATA TO BE SUBMITTED INTO THE DATABASE .
***HOW do I make this part work where the data is submitted to the database after payment is accepted***

Wix reminds me of the CMS system I had to make for a client in PHP Laravel once. Although Wix is a lot more complex and streamlined. It looks very helpful for anyone who doesn't want to be writing code or even learning new frameworks, but man does their website load slow for me (my internet is not great: 4mbps down / 0.4mpbs up).
I was interested in Wix until I saw the subscriptions for it... The cheapest option shows ads on your website by them and you can't have your own favicon...? Limited storage and bandwidth? I have a webserver for cheaper than the cheapest Wix subscription with unlimited bandwidth and storage. Also the prices don't seem to compete either. Squarespace offers unlimited everything (including storage) from their cheapest option and is still cheaper than an equivalent Wix subscription.

Yes, their approach is slightly different, but their end goal (building / hosting a website) is similar. I just don't see how a person wanting to make a website would take Wix over Squarespace for example just because of their odd subscriptions.
Wix has been available for use for quite some time and has been proven to be effective. Whilst, I have heard good things about Squarespace, Wix has them beat solely by length of being available to the public alone.

I am not a coder and that is why I came to WIX -- it is cool that WIX can allow coders who know how to code use their extra skills here to make little tweeks here and there with their web site.
For me -- I have been ALMOST finished with my website for 2 years now but unable to finish my site because -- IN THE PAST -- WIX did not allow extra code -- but even though it does now I DONT KNOW HOW TO CODE.
I am so close to finishing my professional business web site and yet still impossibly far away.
I cant afford to go to DEVELOPMENT SCHOOL and learning JAVASCRIPT on line has been very difficult to understand for me.
This video FOR ME taught me NOTHING -- Sorry -- but I am sure a great many people appreciate your time and effort trying to help us all.
you know there are youtube tutorials lol-- and lots of websites-- just look up exactly what you need and you won't need to learn anything besides where to put things. trial and error works fine for new programming languages.

**QUESTION** How do I get a result from a PAYMENT process ( like STRIPE or PAYPAL ) to Trigger an Event or Function in MY website ?
I am building a Business Website where in steps ** 1 ** a Customer ( anyone this is not a Subscription nor membership site ) comes to my web site Fills out a Form for DATA SUBMISSION into the Database. ** 2 ** Once the DATA Form is filled out they press NEXT button ** 3 ** they are taken to a 3rd party PAYMENT page where they fill out a payment form and then press SUBMIT ** 4 ** once the SUBMIT button is pressed payment is process ** 5 ** ONLY AFTER PAYMENT IS APPROVED THEN I want the Data to be submitted into the data base.
***QUESTION*** Is STEP # 5 completed with JS or some other language ? HOW do I complete the process where AFTER PAYMENT IS ACCEPTED from a 3rd party payment processor ( like STRIP or PAYPAL ) THEN the data from the Already filled out data form is submitted into the data base ?? IS A WEBHOOK required to make this possible ? (if so how would one code that ) Is GET, Fetch, or some third party server required ??

No it's not. Wix makes it easy to develop code for small businesses, but can't do the things larger companies require. Most front-end develops now require Angular, React, Vue within their skillsets. Wix can make websites, but not web apps.
