We can nick pick on everything nothing is ever gonna be perfect but I love the tone and understand the colouring. This is not meant to be dark tone Superman but comic version. Love the trailer and reaction. I believe the movie is going to be close to 2hrs 25mins which is just about long enough
There is no "perfect" in anything. Something that one person will love the next will hate. I feel like may people just like to get on the hate wagon for no reason rather than just kicking back and enjoying something for what it is, that isn't real, that takes place on a fake world, with fake people, that fly, have powers or live in space or what it might be. In the end it will come down to story and if that story hits right. You can have the best franchise in the world and the story, editing and execution can be its down fall. Loving this take and direction so far from what we just got to see. I hope with the final results of the film that I feel just as good about it.
I've watched this many times over by now. Super solid... Really looking forward to this! Never felt like they really let Cavill play Superman... I wish they had given him a really good script! Wasn't his fault, But it just didn't get the attention the character deserved and the focus was on something else for it to really come together and feel like the character.... under Snyder..... Then they tried to fast track the Justice League before it ever really felt like Superman.... THIS feels like Superman! I'm pumped!
For me it has an up beat epic feel! I love the John Williams theme! I was in the theater as a 15 year old in 78! That movie and the soundtrack is in my top 5 superhero movies! On a side note those who complain about the underwear on the outside. Need to look out for those people who now wear pajamas everywhere 🤣
I totally agree with your take, man! I haven't had the highest hopes for this movie, to be honest. But this teaser really excited me! I like David Corenswet's look. The suit looks much better than the set photos, which is to be expected. And I think Rachel Brosnahan will be a fantastic Lois Lone, possibly the best yet, IMO. Henry will always be MY Superman, but my heart has room for David. Overall this movie has the potential to be really great!
I was in that same boat from the moment Superman was recast. I was like damn it, here we go again... I didn't like the suit at all at first but after seeing it now i'm liking it much more. I still wish they went in a different direction with the suit but it is what it is. I want to be able to love this film as a whole and not hate it cuz of 1 or 2 little things that i think they could have done different. I think we are gonna great a great movie. fingers crossed. and as of now we still have like 7 months! so things can even change of get updated before then as for as editing, color, CGI updates, who knows.
Yep, i was sad to see the recasting but here we are and I think we are going to get possible the best superman story on screen in the longest time. We have NEVER seen this story before and I'm so so happy we are not going back to the start again. I don't think I can deal with yet another origin story from any of these big characters like Superman or Batman. Im glad this years some years down the line.

If you didn’t like what we had with Cavill and MOS, Your opinion and you’re entitled to it mate. I personally loved what we got with MOS, BVS Ultimate edition and ZSJL but not everyone did that’s fine. I have no issues with a reboot but I refuse to support Gunn, his vile disgusting comments on kids turned my stomach and put me off him for life, haven’t supported him since not about to now. But hope you enjoy it 👍 I will wait till it’s free to

Cavill was OK, but Snyder's take on things was TERRIBLE...even Cavill knew it was off.
